Anthony Michael Hall 58 reveals how wife Lucia Oskerova 35 became his soulmate

Anthony Michael Hall has opened up about the happiness he’s found with his wife, saying the two are thrilled to have built a life together.

The The Breakfast Club actor has shared more about his partner, Lucia Oskerova, as well as their marriage and growing family.

Hall and Oskerova, 35, started dating in 2014. Three years later, they took the next step and got engaged.

At the time their relationship began, Hall was 46 and Lucia was 23. According to Hello!, the pair were seen together at several premieres for his film Foxcatcher in October 2014.

“I have found my soulmate,” he told People of his wife. “I have, and I love her.”

The couple married in 2020, although pandemic restrictions complicated their plans. After things returned to normal, they renewed their vows in 2023.

Hall has also spoken about becoming a parent later in life.

“I couldn’t be happier because I always knew, even when I was a young man, that I wanted to get started later.”

Not long after, the couple’s family of two became three. In February 2023, they announced that Oskerova was pregnant and around seven months along.

Hall later kept fans updated through Instagram before confirming the arrival of their son, Michael Anthony Hall II, making him a first-time father at 55.

Michael Anthony Hall II was born on June 1, 2023, and Hall admitted he was still adjusting to the experience of new parenthood.

“That first month of parenting is pretty wild,” he told the outlet at the time. “It’s the craziest time, but it’s the best time.”

Hall also spoke candidly about the realities of life with a newborn and described his son as a “big boy.”

“Everything that everybody tells you is pretty true: you lose sleep,” Hall continued, going on to call his then 1-month-old a “big boy.”

He made it clear he was embracing this chapter wholeheartedly.

“I couldn’t be happier [now],” he went on to say. “Here I am at 55, and I’m fully committed. I’m excited. My wife and I are really into parenting and diving in.”

He also explained that choosing their son’s name felt natural for both of them.

“I knew I did want to name him Michael and my wife also loved that name, even before she met me,” he said. “We decided to go with the suffix so he’s Michael Anthony Hall II because there are a lot of juniors in the world. There’s nothing wrong with that, but we figured we wanted to keep that full name.”

Now 58, Hall says fatherhood remains the role he values most. In a recent interview with People published on July 25, he reflected on family life.

“Fatherhood and being a husband—that’s absolutely the greatest role.”

He added that parenting is constant work, but one he and his wife are happy to take on.

“It’s a full-time job … but we love it. We just embrace it, and our son is such a joy.”

Hall also shared how their son is getting on after starting preschool about six months ago.

“He’s doing great. He’s eating so much— I mean, this kid is like a little giant. He looks like he’s 5 years old already. But we’re having a great time. It’s incredible.”

The actor, who says he’s still working and building his production company, also noted that his wife helped inspire his latest foray into reality television, explaining that he had spent years teasing the genre while she remained a fan.
