Hilaria Baldwin, 42, said “I never say no to possibilities” when asked on Page Six Radio’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast in July whether she’d ever join Real Housewives.
When asked about joining the franchise, she tilted her head and added, “Who knows where this little life is going to go next?”
Baldwin appeared on Page Six Radio in July 2026 to promote her new show, Nation’s Dumbest.
The coy response comes years after Andy Cohen first approached her about a Housewives role.
In June 2024, Andy Cohen disclosed on Kelly Ripa’s SiriusXM podcast Let’s Talk Off Camera that he had previously discussed the possibility of Hilaria joining the Real Housewives franchise, describing the conversation as “exploratory” and noting it “didn’t go much further.”
The revelation came after Ripa jokingly suggested that Hilaria, given her residence in New York City, could be a good fit for The Real Housewives of New York City.
“Well, we actually had a discussion with her a little while ago about that,” Cohen told Ripa.
Cohen noted that while the idea was “an interesting” one, Hilaria ultimately did not join the Housewives lineup.
Cohen said he spoke to her “a couple years ago” and described their talks as “exploratory conversation and it didn’t go much further, but it is certainly an interesting idea.”
Kyle Richards, a Beverly Hills Housewife, had championed the idea months earlier.
In March, Kyle Richards shared her thoughts on a potential new addition to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast, expressing her desire for Hilaria to join the reality show.
“I have a new one, I think,” Kyle said. “She lives in New York, but maybe she would move. I’m scared I’m gonna mispronounce her name, but I think it’s kind of fitting for the situation.”
Cohen said he had reservations about a Baldwin-focused spinoff for a different reason.
“I wonder how Alec would feel about surrendering control of his portrayal to someone else,” Cohen said.
Instead of joining a Housewives cast, the Baldwins landed their own reality series.
Alec and Hilaria announced a new reality series which premiered on TLC in 2025.
The show, called The Baldwins, will feature all seven of Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Baldwin’s kids and will air on TLC.
“Coming in 2025,” the couple captioned an Instagram video on June 4 announcing the project.
In the video, Alec Baldwin says that he and his wife will be inviting people into their home to “experience the ups and downs, the good, the bad, the wild, and the crazy.” The couple yelled “We are the Baldwins” and Alec joked, “God help you all.”
Baldwin has since become a television staple beyond her family show.

Baldwin competed on Dancing with the Stars in its 34th season.
Hilaria Baldwin was announced as one of the celebrity cast members of season 34 of Dancing with the Stars, which premiered Tuesday, Sept. 16, on ABC and Disney+.
