The pair settled the lawsuit on July 23, according to court docs Lauren’s lawyers submitted to a Los Angeles court Tuesday. The filing says the settlement is “unconditional” and that a request for dismissal will be filed within 45 days of July 23.

The details of the settlement are under wraps. Pisciotta’s attorney Arick Fudali said “The matter has been resolved” in a statement.

Pisciotta worked for Ye between 2021 and 2023, first in A&R for his chart-topping album Donda and then later in the roles of both personal assistant and chief of staff for his various companies, including his Yeezy fashion line. She sued for sexual harassment in 2024, alleging the rapper frequently propositioned her for sex, sent graphic text messages and once masturbated in front of her while locking her in a room during a private jet flight.

The settlement comes quietly after Fudali previously asked for privacy around the case. “Ms. Pisciotta wishes to keep any settlement discussion she may be having with Ye’s team private,” Pisciotta’s attorney, Arick Fudali from The Bloom Firm, told Complex.

The two sides reached an agreement in principle during mediation on June 4, about seven weeks before finalizing the deal. The court had canceled a scheduled hearing to allow both parties time to finalize the settlement.

Pisciotta’s legal team includes specialists in employment and harassment cases. Pisciotta’s case has been taken up by The Bloom Firm, a law firm led by attorney Lisa Bloom, which specializes in, among other things, sexual harassment and sexual discrimination cases.

West’s representatives have not publicly commented on the settlement. Reps for Ye did not immediately return a request for comment on the settlement.

In the viral moment that led to this case, Pisciotta filed the lawsuit in June 2024, accusing West of sexual harassment, sexual battery, and wrongful termination, claiming he sent her sexually explicit messages and videos and fired her after she refused his advances. She also alleged West drugged her during a studio session co-hosted by Sean “Diddy” Combs.

West denied all allegations. West’s legal representative called Lauren Pisciotta’s accusations “baseless” and accused her of engaging in “blackmail and extortion” after he rejected her sexual advances.

In one text message from the lawsuit, West allegedly wrote: “See my problem is I be wanting to fuck but then after I fuck I want a girl to tell me how hard they been fucked while I’m fucking them. Then I want her to cheat on me …”

Pisciotta claims she was promoted to Chief of Staff for Ye’s various companies with an annual salary of $4 million before being fired in October 2022, and says she was never paid the $3 million severance she was offered.

Last year, Pisciotta amended her lawsuit to add even more serious allegations of sexual assault and sex trafficking, claiming that Ye “groped her on a regular basis,” once attempted to penetrate her with his fingers and another time “orally raped her without her consent.”

In a celebratory moment following the deal, Kanye West was seen partying at one of Ibiza’s hottest clubs after settling his ex-assistant’s sexual assault lawsuit, hitting Pacha Ibiza Tuesday night for Rüfüs Du Sol’s set with video showing him planted in the packed crowd, bobbing along as the music blasted and red lights swept through the club.

A follow-up hearing is scheduled for September 28.
