Taylor Frankie Paul just broke her silence on the renewed custody battle with her ex-husband and got real and raw with her accusations towards Dakota Mortensen and Tate Paul.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star posted several pictures of injuries she claims were sustained during fights with Dakota, and said the two men were ganging up on her, using their three shared children as pawns.
Paul has declined proposals from both exes offering her just 40 percent custody, a source told Page Six exclusively.
The situation marks an escalation in Paul’s ongoing legal battles across multiple fronts.
Taylor said, “If I have learned anything in 2026 with false headlines, there’s a lot of false information out there… That being said, there are some things that are true as well.”
Taylor also spoke about a case filed by Utah’s Division of Child and Family Services, which had asked a juvenile court to look into Taylor’s children and whether they are being neglected, dependent, or abused.
Taylor revealed that she is reviewing the court documents for defending herself and confirms that she will counter some claims only in court.
The custody war involves separate legal battles with two exes simultaneously.
Tate Paul has reportedly filed for a temporary restraining order against his ex-wife Taylor Frankie Paul and is seeking sole custody of their shared children, Indy and Ocean.

Paul and Mortensen welcomed their first baby together, the MomTok content creator’s third, in March 2024, months before they called it quits.
Taylor’s attorney Eric M. Swinyard tells TMZ, “Today’s hearing was a significant step forward as the Court entered protective orders requiring that Taylor’s ex-partner stays far away from her.
Paul’s attorney Eric M. Swinyard tells Rolling Stone that Taylor was incredibly candid with the Court that she is not perfect and owned her faults, which is in direct contrast to how the other party presented their argument, despite evidence and input from law enforcement that showed otherwise.
The conflict began earlier this year when viral footage surfaced.
In the viral moment,
a video posted by TMZ shows Paul hitting Mortensen as he records her actions, with him saying “This is called physical abuse” while filming.
At one point, she can be seen throwing chairs at him while her daughter, Indy, now 8, was present in the room, and the child can be heard crying as Mortensen and Paul continued fighting.
In 2023, Paul was arrested for alleged domestic violence following an argument with Mortensen, and she was given misdemeanor charges of assault, criminal mischief, and commission of domestic violence in the presence of a child, after she was accused of throwing a chair at Mortensen that hit her daughter.
Paul pled guilty in abeyance to aggravated assault, which means that if she complies with the conditions of the plea, that charge will be dismissed, and the other charges have already been dismissed.
Paul’s response to the situation came months before this summer’s custody setback.
A statement from Paul’s spokesperson obtained by TODAY.com reads, “Taylor is very grateful for ABC’s support as she prioritizes her family’s safety and security. After years of silently suffering extensive mental and physical abuse as well as threats of retaliation, Taylor is finally gaining the strength to face her accuser and taking steps to ensure that she and her children are protected from any further harm.”
A source close to the situation told Page Six that Paul will keep battling for custody at any cost.
Paul’s attorney will continue arguing her case in family court in the coming months.
