Candace Owens released never-before-seen rooftop footage on July 28, during an episode of her show titled “EXCLUSIVE: Never Before Seen Rooftop Footage. Plus, The Rookie Cop Who Found the Gun.”
Owens released footage of a man moving across a rooftop just before Charlie Kirk’s assassination, suggesting that the man in the video was not Tyler Robinson, the alleged shooter.
The footage, believed to be recorded by a bystander, showed a man executing what Candace Owens called a “lateral crawl” on the rooftop, before positioning himself with what appeared to be a rifle.
Owens further alleged that the man in the footage was not Robinson, but admitted that she was not an expert.

“Something feels not right. Something doesn’t feel right. That feels to me like what the witness said that that person looks like they’ve got training. I’m It’s not giving Tyler Robinson to me, but what do I know?”
she said on her show.

Robinson, 23, has been charged with aggravated murder in Kirk’s killing during a rally at Utah Valley University on September 10. Kirk, 31, had been answering a question about gun violence when he was shot in the neck by a marksman with a bolt-action rifle from a rooftop perch roughly 415 feet away, an investigator testified.
Alex Jones quickly drew attention to the video, declaring that the “official narrative” had “collapsed.” Robinson remains accused of carrying out the assassination, but a judge has not yet determined whether the case will proceed to trial.
“The Official Charlie Kirk assassination story is now 100% dead!” Jones wrote.
Jones added, “The individual does not look like Tyler Robinson. The rifle is never pulled from his pants. The person in the footage has no limp. Nowhere do we see the shooter assembling the gun on the roof as we were told. No recoil is seen. He performs military maneuvers with precision as well as signaling before opening fire.”

Controversial podcast host Candace Owens received an avalanche of criticism this week from her fellow MAGA influencers as evidence against Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin was made public during a preliminary hearing, evidence which rebutted many of Owens’s outlandish claims regarding the shooting.

Surveillance video shown in court this past week has become a central piece of the case against Tyler Robinson, the Utah man accused of assassinating Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. The video compilation, presented during Robinson’s preliminary hearing, allegedly tracks the 23-year-old’s movements around Utah Valley University on Sept. 10. Utah State Bureau of Investigation Agent David Hull testified that investigators used campus cameras to work backward and forward from footage of a figure on the roof of the Losee Center for Student Success, where prosecutors say the fatal shot was fired.
MAGA appeared to finally have enough of Owens this week, with everyone from Dinesh D’Souza to Ben Shapiro to even Catturd savagely calling her out and accusing her of both harming the credibility of alternative media and profiting off of the Charlie Kirk tragedy.
D’Souza, who himself pushed and had to retract election conspiracy theories, slammed Owens as a “malignant narcissist” in a clip released on Thursday night.
Daily Wire founder Ben Shapiro pulled no punches on Thursday in slamming his former coworker turned nemesis Candace Owens, accusing her of “working to acquit” Charlie Kirk’s alleged murderer.
Shapiro claimed that Owens was spouting “absolutely baseless trash implicating everyone from French intelligence to Mossad to members of TPUSA in Charlie’s murder, or a cover-up in that murder.”

Erika Kirk has one word for Candace Owens, who has been peddling conspiracy theories about her late husband, Charlie Kirk: “Stop.”
In a town hall, CBS News editor-in-chief Bari Weiss asked Charlie Kirk’s widow what she wants to say to Owens and others who are making unfounded claims about his assassination: “Stop. That’s it. That’s all I have to say. Stop.”
Candace Owens’ theories have made her the subject of criticism from various conservative commentators, including Ben Shapiro and Erika Kirk, Charlie Kirk’s widow.
Meanwhile, Owens has continued to make new allegations.

“We came across something more solid,” Owens claimed. “We reviewed the footage… [that had been] wiped from the internet. The proof is in the pudding and I’m gonna let you hear it.”
“They would have seen that there was a woman with the shooter and yet, they chose during this manhunt, during this 33-hour manhunt, not to inform the public that they were also looking for a woman who this lady believes – she wondered – whether or not she would have been an accomplice,” Owens claimed.
“Why would the FBI not tell us something so evidently crucial to this story? That we have a woman that’s involved. What does she look like? How old is she?”
she added.
On July 31, Candace Owens slammed Graham Allen after he criticized her for releasing Charlie Kirk’s alleged murderer’s rooftop footage months after he died. In his X post, Graham accused Owens of withholding the ‘bombshell’ rooftop video since October last year after Charlie was killed in September. He said that Candace lied and misled her audience for so many months.
“If Candace Owens is to be believed that she has been sitting on this “bombshell” footage since Oct 2025…Then that means she has blatantly lied, manipulated, and purposely mislead her audience for over 10 months.”
Allen posted.
In the viral moment that sparked Kirk’s assassination on September 10,
Kirk, 31, had been answering a question about gun violence when he was shot in the neck by a marksman with a bolt-action rifle from a rooftop perch roughly 415 feet away.
Roommate Twiggs said he found a note beneath Robinson’s keyboard in which the accused gunman allegedly confessed. “I had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk and I’m going to take it,” the handwritten note read.
Robinson, then 22, surrendered to authorities in Utah on September 11 after his parents recognized photographs released by the FBI that sparked an intense local manhunt.
Law enforcement has not revised its case based on the video’s release.
