Gigi Hadid arrived at her 30th birthday party on April 25 hand-in-hand with Bradley Cooper, sporting a gold ring on her left ring finger.
The celebration took place Friday night, April 25 at Le Chalet inside L’Avenue at Saks in New York City, marking Hadid’s milestone 30th birthday, which fell on April 23.
Hadid wore a white corset tank and leather pants for the occasion, while Cooper, 50, sported a Philadelphia Eagles varsity jacket layered over a jewel-toned jumpsuit.
Fans quickly noticed the jewelry on Hadid’s left hand, which was clearly visible while she was holding her white clutch, and on her ring finger, the model could be seen wearing a gold band along with several other gold rings on additional fingers.
The sighting sparked widespread engagement rumors, leaving fans and media outlets eagerly awaiting confirmation.
On Saturday, May 3, the supermodel shared a series of photos from her 30th birthday party on Instagram — and among them was a photo of Hadid kissing Cooper, her boyfriend of one year.
In her caption, Hadid wrote, “I feel so lucky to be 30! I feel so lucky for every high and low—for all the lessons and gifts both have brought me. To get to feel it all! I’m so lucky to be a mom, friend, partner, sister, daughter, colleague to some of the most unbelievable humans!!”
Insiders told sources that Gigi and Bradley are not married — at least not yet, saying “It’s a meaningful piece of jewelry, but it’s not an engagement ring — officially.”
“Everyone thinks it’s coming soon, but they’re not husband and wife yet,” the source explained.
According to one source close to the actor, “Gigi wanted something from Bradley to show they’re serious, a keepsake of their commitment to each other,” with one insider adding “The big question now is, are they or aren’t they engaged?” though another source insisted the two are not engaged.
“Bradley and Gigi look great together and totally complement each other,” says one insider, adding that “Bradley and Gigi’s relationship is headed in the right direction.”
The couple, who have been romantically linked since October 2023, have largely kept their relationship out of the public eye, however, their appearance at Hadid’s milestone birthday bash—attended by family and A-list friends—marked a rare public outing together.
In an April 2025 cover story with Vogue, Hadid described their romance as “very romantic and happy,” revealing that they first met at a mutual friend’s backyard birthday party for their child.
“I respect him so much as a creative,” Hadid said of Cooper, adding that his encouragement has been a source of strength for her.
The guest list included Gigi’s family—Yolanda, Mohamed and Bella Hadid—as well as Anne Hathaway, Adam Shulman, Emily Ratajkowski and Will Arnett, with a source describing the party as “an intimate celebration” where Gigi and Cooper “were very cute,” kissing “every time they got near each other.”
In January, a source told People that the couple are not in a rush to get engaged, stating that they are “serious about each other, but an engagement would be a big step,” continuing that “Neither are looking to rush anything, but that’s not to say they’re not very happy together.”
The insider added that Hadid and Cooper’s “families spend time together, and so do their kids. It’s very sweet,” and noted that “Gigi has a free spirit personality and she brings out a fun side of Bradley.”
In Vogue’s April cover story, Gigi disclosed that her and Bradley met at a backyard birthday party for the child of a mutual friend.
Both Gigi and Bradley have children of their own from prior relationships, with Gigi sharing four-year-old daughter Khai with Zayn Malik while Bradley shares eight-year-old daughter Lea De Seine with Irina Shayk.
According to Daily Mail, Cooper has already spoken directly with Hadid’s mother, Yolanda Hadid, to seek her blessing before proposing, with sources claiming Cooper has made it clear to Yolanda that he is committed to building a stable family life with Hadid in New York.
In addition to Hadid’s mother, Cooper has reportedly looped in his mother, Gloria Campano, of his intentions, along with his girlfriend’s father, Mohamed Hadid.
At the 2025 Met Gala, Hadid wore no ring on her left ring finger, further shutting down speculation.
