Nicole Kidman appears to be entering a new chapter following her split from Keith Urban, after being seen on vacation with another man.
The actress finalized her divorce from the country singer on January 6, 2026, less than four months after filing for divorce in September 2025. The couple had been living separately since early summer 2025.
Kidman and Urban had been married for nearly 20 years and are parents to two daughters, Sunday Rose, 18, and Faith Margaret, 15.
In the months after their breakup, speculation swirled that Urban had already moved on with his guitarist Maggie Baugh, after he altered lyrics in one of his songs in a way that appeared to reference her. However, someone close to Baugh later pushed back on those claims. Country singer Alexandra Kay, a friend of Baugh, told outlets that Baugh has a boyfriend and has nothing to do with Urban’s split from Kidman.
Urban also told fans to ‘stop reading stuff into it’.
Although his relationship status remains uncertain, Kidman now seems to have sparked romance rumors of her own.
The Perfect Strangers actress has been linked to private equity businessman Michael Reinstein after the two were spotted together in Italy. Reinstein founded the private equity firm Regent and is based in Los Angeles.
Reinstein, who is reportedly worth around $250,000,000, was photographed relaxing poolside with Kidman in Portofino. Kidman’s two daughters were also in Italy with her during the vacation.
According to photos obtained by Page Six, the pair shared a sun lounger while drinking Aperol Spritz.
More recently, E! News reported that Reinstein was photographed collecting Kidman from Los Angeles’ Van Nuys airport on July 30 in his black Ferrari.
Earlier this year, Kidman opened up to Variety about how difficult 2025 had been for her.
“I am, because I’m always going to be moving toward what’s good,” said the Practical Magic star.
“What I’m grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward. That’s that. Everything else I don’t discuss out of respect.
“I’m staying in a place of, ‘We are a family,’ and that’s what we’ll continue to be. My beautiful girls, my darlings, who are suddenly women.”
Along with Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, Kidman is also mother to Isabella, 33, and Connor, 31, whom she shares with former husband Tom Cruise.
According to her divorce settlement, Kidman was granted primary custody of Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, with Urban receiving parenting time every other weekend. Both parents agreed to joint responsibility for major decisions regarding their daughters’ lives.
Reports have claimed that Urban is struggling with the news that Kidman may have moved on.
A source told Aussie outlet New Idea: “Up until now he still had hopes there might be a chance at a reconciliation. He’s absolutely devastated and is going through that feeling of deep loss all over again.”
They added: “It has sent him into a tailspin, and all his friends are keeping a close eye on him. Everyone knows how upset he is, but they’re not going to let this get to him.
“If anything, it’s now freed him up to reboot his own post-divorce love life without worrying about upsetting anyone.”
