A judge has approved a long-term restraining order for the Kardashian-Jenner family after a man was accused of repeatedly turning up at Kylie Jenner’s home.
Kyle Robert DeWick, 40, was arrested in 2021 on trespassing allegations after he arrived at Kylie Jenner’s property. DeWick is a Colorado resident who court documents indicate has a violent criminal record, including prior convictions for violent assault.
He had already been accused of making multiple unwanted visits connected to the family, and recent court filings say he began trying to reconnect with them in the past few months.
A temporary restraining order was issued in May 2026 after the family sought court protection. That protection has now been extended into a longer-term restraining order that will remain in effect until July 31, 2029.
According to court documents reviewed by The Daily Mail and TMZ, the alleged encounters go back to 2021, when Kris Jenner said Kylie’s security team spotted DeWick near the property and asked him
“to leave”
Kris said he allegedly refused, and the situation ended with his arrest
“for trespassing”
The filings also outline what Kris believes motivated DeWick’s presence near the home.
In the documents, Kris said she had been
‘informed’
that DeWick believed she had
‘encouraged’
him to propose to Kylie and had even
‘sent him messages’
about his feelings for her.
Kris rejected that idea, saying:
“I certainly would never tell a stranger to go to my daughter’s home.”
Reports state that in 2024, DeWick filed a federal petition against members of the family.
In that filing, he accused Kylie, Kris, Kendall and Kim of interfering with his
‘relationship’
with Kylie, while also claiming they had been watching him.
When seeking the restraining order, Kris described those claims as
‘concerning,’
and denied them.
She also said the petition caused her
‘severe emotional distress and anxiety,’
because of what she described as the
‘anger’
expressed in it.
More recent allegations say DeWick contacted real estate agents about homes close to the Kardashian-Jenners in an effort to
‘get close’
to them, and that he also tried to make contact with their neighbors. Those claims were supported by John Romero, the director of investigations at a private security firm Kris hired for her personal protection.
One of the properties in question reportedly had previously belonged to Kanye West, Kim Kardashian’s former husband.
Romero also alleged that DeWick reached out to a realtor regarding a home Kylie was selling, and that he later submitted documents that were suspected to be fraudulent in relation to a property purchase. He said he later spoke to DeWick by phone, during which DeWick allegedly claimed one of the Kardashian-Jenners is
‘in love with him and has been pursuing him’
Romero said he believed DeWick was referring to Kylie.
In the restraining order request, Kris described DeWick as a
‘stalker’
and added:
“I have no relationship whatsoever with him.”
Under the new long-term restraining order signed by a judge, DeWick cannot contact the family, try to find their addresses, or come within 100 yards of Kris, Kylie, Kendall, Kim, Kourtney, Khloe or Robert. The court has also imposed a no-contact order barring him from communicating through calls, emails, online platforms, or any other means.
This is not the first restraining order involving the Kardashian-Jenner family, nor is it the first instance of stalking concerns affecting the clan. Over the past few months, multiple incidents have shown that the Kardashians are dealing with serious issues involving stalkers and security threats.
In 2024, Kim sought a restraining order against Melvin Jeffery Conley, who was accused of breaking into Emma Roberts’ home, calling her from the house phone, and saying he wanted to contact Kim.
He was later accused of going to Kris Jenner’s home while pretending to be Kim’s manager, before then appearing at Kim’s Malibu property.
Roberts was granted a five-year restraining order against Conley. Kim received a temporary restraining order, but not a permanent one, after her legal team was reportedly unable to locate him in order to serve the required paperwork.
In January 2022, Kendall Jenner also sought a temporary restraining order against Arnold Babcock, who was accused of trespassing on her property after he was arrested while attempting to gain access to her gated community.
