QVC host Toni Brattin accidentally said “blow job” instead of “blowout” during a live wig demonstration, mortifying herself on air.
Toni Brattin, wig company owner, was showing off chic new styles from her brand on a QVC broadcast August 5.
She was walking viewers through the texture and wave pattern of one of her hairpieces when things took a very NSFW turn.
She told viewers, “It looks like you went and got a blowjob at your — a blowout at your salon.”
She immediately realized what she’d said, gasping “Oh my God” and laughing before trying her best to power through, but eventually ducking down out of sight as the giggles took over.
The slip had been caught on live television.
Realizing her NSFW mistake, the entrepreneur struggled to maintain composure with her back to the camera, quietly adding, “Oh my god,” and then continued bursting out laughing, “And it looks beautiful.”
QVC host Terri Conn somehow managed to keep the train on the tracks, jumping straight into the day’s beauty sale and reminding viewers about free shipping and a one-time-only price.
The entire set was overcome, with Conn eventually bursting out laughing as the camera cut to a model sporting one of Brattin’s wigs—who also appeared to be struggling to maintain her composure.
The moment spread instantly online.
Later, Conn shared a screen recording of the entire moment. Brattin wrote “The show must go on” in an August 5 Instagram post.
Brattin proved she could laugh at herself, reposting a clip of the viral moment being played on The Tonight Show.
Host Jimmy Fallon joked, “By the way, the wigs have totally sold out,” He continued, “A note to all the married men out there, the wig is only available on your birthday.”
Brattin added a shrugging emoji in a caption of a clip, adding, “Gotta love live TV!”
Fans rallied around the entrepreneur in the comments.
