Evicted Big Brother 28 star Lyric Medeiros, 25, is defending her viral confession that she repeatedly peed in the shared house shower
.
On the live feeds, Medeiros told fellow houseguest Mallory Aurichio she had “peed every time I’ve come in the shower and I don’t feel bad about it not even a little bit ’cause every one in this house is out to get me”
.
The confession spread rapidly across social media before Medeiros, a Hawaii-based lawyer, was evicted and had a chance to explain herself.
Speaking to Page Six after her eviction, Medeiros struck a lighter tone about her bathroom act in the 16-person household.
“I think everyone pees in the shower, at least I think so,” she told the outlet.
She joked at her own expense: “Lyric, you’re crazy, I don’t know what you were thinking.”
But she pivoted to a serious note about the blowback.
“It’s a learned lesson that in a 16-person household, you don’t pee in the shower because it may just go viral,” Medeiros said.
“And don’t admit it even if you do,” she added.
Still, Medeiros wanted people to know the act wasn’t as unhygienic as critics claimed.
“I think I used soap and the water was running and so it really just canceled out,” she shared with Page Six.
In a more detailed defense to Gold Derby, Medeiros said: “I peed once in the shower, and I soaped my body off afterwards, and I stayed in the shower, and I think I washed my hair afterwards. So there was a lot of water flow and a lot of soap going on. I think it really just washed away, to be honest.”
She also noted she wears shower shoes

“However,” she continued to Page Six, “if I were to go in the Big Brother house again, mark my words, I would not be in the shower and tell everyone about it.”
Fans online were split on Medeiros’ revelation, with some calling it “nasty” and “extremely inconsiderate” for her to urinate in a shower she shares with other people
.
Others offered counterarguments, with one person asking “what’s so taboo about peeing in a the shower” while another called out fans for “being so performatively disgusted in these comments like I know 90% of you pee in the shower”
.
The timing of her admission proved awkward after the show dropped a video of houseguest Taylor Brown deep-cleaning the shower.
On that video, one fan wrote: “Doesn’t help that Lyric’s peeing in it”

Beyond the bathroom confession, Medeiros had plenty to say about her game and her eviction.
She said of Melody’s reported rage: “Well, I heard that Melody said she wants to punch me in the face, so no hard feelings at all”

“But at the end of the day, it’s a game,” Medeiros told Page Six.
“And so I think we’ll be friends on the outside.”
At the eleventh hour before Thursday’s eviction, Dee Valladares, Rick Devens and Angela Murray flipped the house against Lyric, worried she’d come after them if she ever won power
.
Medeiros called out individual houseguests for their gameplay.
She said of her loss: “I was shocked, but I knew that people were talking behind my back. Of course, that doesn’t shock me. I just didn’t know the extent”

Medeiros specifically targeted Drew Campbell for his mockery.
“Drew Campbell for making fun of my voice,” she told Page Six.
She also named Dee as the architect of her demise.
“I honestly thought I could trust Dee in the game and I she played a big role in me being evicted,” Medeiros told Page Six.
“And so I obviously am a little shocked, but also not.”
The one positive from her time in the house was her romance with second-boot Rome Seymour, the Florida-based pickleball coach she connected with on Day 2.
“I’m so blessed that I met Rome because we’ve been talking literally every day on FaceTime,” she said to Page Six.
“It’s been a dream come true in terms of coming out of that house with something more than just the experience. It’s coming out with a person I can trust forever and a person that I love.”
Medeiros told Swooon after her August 6 eviction: “Big Brother does a good job with casting because, boy, that man was made for me.” She had fallen for Rome just two days into the competition
.
When Rome said “I love you,” Lyric revealed that she felt the same way “1000%.” She explained: “I actually wanted to say ‘I love you’ before he said ‘I love you’ because the connection we had was just indescribable”
.
Medeiros spoke about what drew her to Rome beyond the romance.
She explained: “He’s just such a class act. I literally am so blessed to have met him because we’re so similar and have so many similar values, and we knew that from the get-go. We talked about our parents the first time we met. That was our first conversation. I was like, ‘How’s your relationship with your parents? How long have your parents been together? Do you want the same relationship that your parents have?’ And we’re so similar. His parents have been married for over 30 years. Mine over 28 years, and he wants to find the same”
.
Medeiros teased plans to reunite with Rome outside the house.
“All I can say is that maybe expect something on our social media pages,” she shared with Page Six.
“Maybe a reunion might be happening within the next two weeks.”
Rome had posted on his Instagram Stories when she was voted out: “You did AMAZING @lyricmedeiros I’m so proud to be your cheerleader through this! I can’t wait to see you”

In the viral moment from Week 4, Medeiros had been facing the block alongside Melody Morris and Drew Campbell after Taylor Brown won the power of veto and pulled herself down.
On Day 31, the house sent her home in an 8-3 vote over Melody Morris, because Lyric had comp wins on her résumé and Melody didn’t

Only Chuk Anyanwu, Kamu Kirk, and Yash Patel voted in her favor

Haley Thogmartin, that week’s Head of Household, originally put up Taylor Brown, Melody Morris, and Drew Campbell, but when Taylor won the Power of Veto and pulled herself off the block, Haley used her renom to put up Lyric instead
