Shanna Moakler’s feud with Kourtney Kardashian has flared anew following the Los Angeles premiere of Travis Barker’s documentary, with the Blink-182 drummer’s ex-wife promising to reveal her full account of the family drama in her forthcoming memoir.

The tensions resurfaced this week when Moakler left a now-deleted TikTok comment on a video showing Barker and Kardashian walking the red carpet at the premiere of “Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear,” accompanied by Barker’s three children with Moakler: daughters Atiana De La Hoya and Alabama Barker, and son Landon Barker. Kardashian, 47, attended without her four children—Mason, Penelope, and Reign, whom she shares with ex Scott Disick, and 2-year-old Rocky, whom she shares with Barker, 50.
“Where are her children?” Moakler wrote before removing the comment, according to screenshots captured by vigilant social media users. The jab quickly ignited fresh speculation online about the long-standing tensions between the two women.
When pressed by reporters about the comment on Friday, Moakler downplayed the situation. “Honestly, there’s no major story here,” the 51-year-old said. “I post and delete things on social media all the time, and there really isn’t anything more I want to add to it.”
However, the former beauty queen and Miss USA pageant winner indicated she has plenty more to say—just not right now. “In due time, I’ll be sharing my story in my own words through my book, and I’m looking forward to that,” she said, referring to her upcoming memoir titled “Queen Risen,” which she announced completing in February.
The deleted TikTok comment represents just the latest chapter in a complicated saga that has played out across podcasts, interviews, and social media over recent months. In February of this year, Moakler appeared on Brittany Cartwright’s “When Reality Hits” podcast and leveled serious allegations against Kardashian’s parenting approach toward her children with Barker.
When asked whether she and Kardashian discuss co-parenting strategies, Moakler responded bluntly: “I don’t think those women have those conversations with anybody,” seemingly taking aim at the entire Kardashian family. She went on to describe feeling disrespected in their dynamic, saying she believed boundaries had been violated in ways she wouldn’t tolerate.
“At one point in time, I felt it wasn’t respectful,” Moakler stated. “At certain times, I felt, ‘Wow, if I had your kids, I wouldn’t be doing some of the s–t you’re doing with my kids.'” She elaborated that had she been responsible for Kardashian’s children, she would have ensured “certain lines weren’t crossed,” implying that Kardashian had failed to maintain appropriate boundaries.
The feud between Moakler and Kardashian traces back to 2021, when Barker began dating the reality television star. Moakler and Barker were married from October 2004 until their divorce was finalized in 2008. The couple welcomed Landon and Alabama during their marriage, while Atiana is Moakler’s biological daughter with boxer Oscar De La Hoya, whom Barker helped raise during their relationship.
Earlier this year, Moakler was decidedly more pointed in her criticism of the Kardashian family as a whole. In a June 2024 interview with People magazine, she stated bluntly: “I don’t have to like the f–king Kardashians, and I’m honestly sick of talking about them.” She added: “As I stand here today, as a mature woman who’s gone through all that … I do not give a f–k what anyone thinks of me anymore. I’m proud of who I am.”
At that time, Moakler also revealed she and Barker no longer communicate. “We don’t speak anymore,” she told the outlet, though she said she remained hopeful the situation might eventually change. “I don’t have a relationship with Travis, but I think that’s OK. I don’t feel like it’ll be like that forever, but I feel like right now — I think that’s where we are at in our evolution, and maybe in the future, it’ll change.”

Barker married Kardashian in May 2022 in Santa Barbara, California, before the couple welcomed their son, Rocky, in November 2023. Since then, Moakler has become increasingly vocal about her concerns regarding how Kardashian interacts with her older children, often framing her criticism around issues of respect and appropriate parental boundaries.
The deleted red carpet comment this week suggests tensions remain unresolved. While Moakler has played down the significance of the TikTok remark, her promise to address the drama comprehensively in her memoir signals that more detailed allegations may be forthcoming once the book is released. For now, the details of precisely what Moakler plans to reveal remain under wraps, leaving the situation in a state of simmering tension between the Barker, Kardashian, and Moakler families.
