Justin Timberlake offered a rare glimpse of his sons in a summer photo dump on Instagram.
The “Cry Me A River” singer, 45, posted multiple snapshots on Tuesday showing Silas, 11, and Phineas, 6, alongside wife Jessica Biel, 44, during their recent family activities. Timberlake captioned the carousel simply, “Been outside.”
In one photo, Phineas grinned behind a giant ice cream sundae that nearly obscured his face, sporting an orange hat and blue shirt. Another shot captured the 6-year-old at a rodeo, decked out in a black cowboy hat, blue shirt and red shorts as he watched the action. A third image showed Phineas walking a golf course alongside his famous father, both carrying golf bags.
Silas appeared in two photos from the post, including one shot of the 11-year-old with Timberlake and contemporary artist Roy Nachum at Mercer Labs in New York City. In another picture, Silas stood with his dad and younger brother as the trio looked out a window in what appeared to be a hotel room.
Biel also made appearances in the photo dump. In one image, the “7th Heaven” alum posed outside with Timberlake, wearing a rust-colored silk dress while he sported a collarless gray suit. Another photo showed Biel smiling while holding a fish she appeared to have caught on a dock.
The family-focused post comes after Biel publicly celebrated Timberlake on Father’s Day last month with her own Instagram tribute. “Watching you be a father is one of my favorite things,” Biel wrote, alongside photos of the family of four. “Our boys are so lucky to call you Dad.”
Timberlake reciprocated the sentiment in his own Father’s Day post last year, sharing a photo embracing both sons. “There’s no bigger reward or responsibility,” he wrote. “I see my two dads, my grandfathers, my uncles more and more clearly every year that I get to experience this life with them. And I see myself more and more clearly in every moment I have with my sons, watching who they continue to become.”
The couple has largely shielded their children from public view since becoming parents. Biel previously addressed their approach on Dax Shepard’s “Armchair Expert” podcast, revealing that Phineas was born during the summer of 2020 and that she wasn’t sure Timberlake would be allowed in the hospital due to COVID-19 restrictions. “I was really getting nervous about that situation,” she said. “But yes, he was allowed. I think if I had to be there alone, that would have been horrible. I would have been really scared.”
In the viral moment that has shadowed the family, Timberlake was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated in June 2024 after meeting friends at the American Hotel in Sag Harbor, New York. He pleaded guilty to an impaired driving charge in September 2024 and was forced to apologize outside the courthouse as part of his plea deal. The incident fueled ongoing rumors of marital strain, with Daily Mail reporting in April that Biel had “issued an ultimatum” to her husband about his behavior surrounding drinking. “There’s not much more she can take,” an insider claimed, alleging that Timberlake is “never home” and Biel “does everything with the kids.”
Despite the speculation, the couple has continued presenting a united front in public. Timberlake and Biel have been together since meeting at a party in 2007 and married in Italy five years later. They welcomed Silas in April 2015 and Phineas in July 2020.
The “Mirrors” singer’s summer recap suggests the family has been keeping busy with outdoor activities ranging from fishing to golf to rodeo visits. The post marks one of the most extensive looks at both children Timberlake has shared publicly.
