Harry Styles cracked a joke about his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift’s wedding during his Madison Square Garden residency show on Saturday.
The “As It Was” singer, 32, was greeting the crowd when he pivoted from sports to matrimony. “We’re at Madison Square Garden, home of the world champion New York Knicks,” he told the audience.
“And they also do weddings,” he jokingly added, drawing a massive cheer from the room.
Swift, 36, and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, also 36, had tied the knot at the same venue just days earlier on July 3. The ceremony was cloaked in privacy, with curtains blocking outside views, though digital signs outside the arena later announced to fans: “Just T&T Married!”
The star-studded guest list included Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez, Bradley Cooper and Benny Blanco. Comedian Adam Sandler officiated, while Swift’s brother Austin served as her man of honor and Kelce’s brother Jason stood as best man. The bride and groom both wore Christian Dior Haute Couture, according to Swift’s longtime publicist Tree Paine.
Styles’ own fiancée, Zoë Kravitz, 37, was spotted attending the Swift-Kelce wedding solo. The “Blink Twice” actress and the former One Direction star were first linked romantically in August when they were seen vacationing in Rome and later making out in London that same month. By January, an insider said that Kravitz was calling Styles “her soulmate.” Another source confirmed their engagement in April, saying, “He is completely smitten. He would jump off a cliff for her.” Kravitz has since been seen wearing her reported $500,000 engagement ring at multiple Styles concerts, and insiders said the couple is planning two weddings.
Styles and Swift’s brief romance began in late 2012 and ended in January 2013. Years later, Swift befriended Kravitz in 2016, and the two women quarantined together in the UK in 2020. Swift also opened her Beverly Hills home to Kravitz and her mother Lisa Bonet during the deadly California wildfires in January 2025.
