Brandi Glanville Details Daily 18-Hour IV Trips Amid Ongoing Health Struggles and Says ‘I Feel Like Death’

Brandi Glanville has opened up about her grueling daily medical routine amid her ongoing health crisis.

The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum, 53, revealed in an Instagram Reel on Sunday that she spends up to 20 hours a day hooked to IV infusions at her home. Glanville showed her followers the extensive array of treatments sprawled across her entire kitchen counter, offering a raw glimpse into a regimen she had previously kept private.

“I know I’m so skinny right now. I can’t eat because the IVs that I do decrease my food. I feel like death, I look like death,” she said in the video.

The former Bravo star broke down the specifics of her care, noting that a nurse visits her house for four hours daily to assist with the IV treatment. She has learned to manage the remaining hours herself, bringing the total to roughly 18 hours of daily infusion time. One medication, Imipenem, runs overnight and makes sleeping “difficult,” she explained.

“I really don’t get along with my nurse at all,” Glanville admitted in a second clip. “We fight.”

Glanville’s health struggles trace back to 2023, when she first began experiencing facial disfigurement. She went public with her condition in June 2024, initially blaming Bravo for what she called “stress”-induced health woes. Months later, she shared doctors’ belief that a parasite “jumps around” her face was the true culprit. By June of last year, she revealed an additional diagnosis: a benign facial tumor located in one of her lymph nodes, which she said on her “Brandi Glanville Unfiltered” podcast “could be why the fluid is going around my face.”

The toll has been severe and expensive. Over the past three years, Glanville has lost multiple teeth and sunk six figures into medical costs. In February, she said that ruptured breast implants had triggered the infection, with silicone leaking into her lymph nodes and clogging them.

“You really should change your implants every 10 years,” she said at the time. “I learned a really, really hard lesson.”

Her condition has continued to deteriorate. Last March, she tweeted bluntly about her state: “I’m f–king miserable. My face is … literally melted away.” She called the situation “worse than ever.”

In Sunday’s second video, Glanville captioned the footage by saying she “never thought this would become [her] life” and that she is “fighting” to remove the facial parasite. She also confessed to an urge to take drastic action: “I just want to cut my face open and take it out.”

The only break in her isolation comes for work. “So now I have to start my IVs, I mean I’m on IVs almost 20 hours a day. The only time I leave my house is to do my podcast,” she said.

Glanville emphasized that her Sunday reveal represents only a fraction of her full experience. “For the first time, I’m showing you what my life has really looked like behind closed doors,” she wrote in the caption of her first video. “The treatments. The IVs. The exhaustion. The days nobody saw.”

She added that she “hadn’t been ready to talk about all of it publicly, and there’s still a lot I’m not ready to share yet. This is only one minute of a much bigger story.”

Glanville closed with a message to her followers about the limits of her disclosure: “I know everyone wants to know exactly what I’m dealing with. I’m not ready to share that part just yet. But I am ready to start showing you what it’s taken to get here. This is my reality right now.”
