Simone Biles revealed her Porsche was stolen during a masked break-in at her Chicago home.
The gymnast, 29, told her TikTok followers Monday that three masked men targeted the property during the final months she and husband Jonathan Owens spent in the city. She was applying makeup and preparing to buy a replacement vehicle when she shared the story on video.
“I feel like I need a new car because during our last few months in Chicago, three men in masks came to our house and stole our Porsche. Stole the GTS,” Biles said in the TikTok post.
She noted that the luxury vehicle was eventually recovered, though she still planned to move on to a different car. “yes we recovered the car, onto the next,” she wrote in the post’s caption.
Biles suggested she might elaborate on the terrifying episode if her audience wanted more details. “That’s another story if you guys want to know, I’ll do a story time on that,” she said on TikTok.
The Olympic gold medalist also joked that her eventful life has become material worthy of reality television. “The things that happen to me are absolutely insanity,” she quipped. “It’d be really easy for producers to just film regularly.”
She tied the security scare to a recent addition to her household. “That is one of the reasons why we also got our Doberman,” Biles added, referring to the guard dog she and Owens now share.
Fans flooded the comments demanding a full account of the Porsche theft. “We need the story about the Porsche,” one wrote. “Yes we need a storytime,” another added. A third commented, “You gotta spill the beans baby!”
The break-in disclosure comes after Biles faced a separate health crisis earlier this year. In June, she posted on Instagram Stories about a frightening medical episode that occurred while Owens was away at NFL preseason practice with the Indianapolis Colts.
“I’m not one to normally share things like this because I value privacy in today’s age,” she wrote on Instagram Stories. “But almost dying wasn’t on my bingo card earlier this week.”
She described the incident as deeply unsettling, particularly because she was alone. “This was one of, if not the scariest experience of my life, especially since Johnathan was in Indy for practices,” she added.
The following month, Biles revealed she had returned to the hospital for a procedure. She posted a black-and-white photograph showing herself in a hospital gown and shower cap beside Owens, noting the timing was difficult. The procedure took place on the same day as her husband’s birthday, though she did not disclose what medical treatment she received.
Biles has continued to share glimpses of her personal life with millions of followers across platforms, balancing her characteristic openness with her stated preference for privacy.
The couple, who married in 2023, have navigated a high-profile relationship while Owens plays professional football and Biles maintains her status as the most decorated gymnast in American history.
