Katelyn Larson has drawn a hard line with fans of HBO’s “Heated Rivalry.”
The tattoo artist, 26, who is dating series star Hudson Williams, 26, took to Instagram Stories this week to address what she called boundary-crossing behavior at her studio. Larson and Williams hard launched their relationship on Valentine’s Day 2026, then made their red carpet debut together at the Vanity Fair Oscars party in March. Before dating the actor, who plays Shane Hollander on the hockey drama, Larson worked outside the public eye.
“Hi divas, I didn’t ever want to say anything about this, but a couple of people have crossed boundaries so I’ve got to say something real quick,” Larson wrote on Instagram Stories.
She made clear that fans finding her studio through the show did not bother her in itself. “Obviously a lot of you have found the studio because of a certain show and that’s more than okay!” she penned.
Larson distinguished between acceptable and unacceptable fan behavior with precision. Fans following her or her coworkers for genuine interest in their art, she said, should “go right ahead” without feeling weird about it. But she identified where she “drew a very hard line.”
“Booking an appointment with me or anyone else purely because of the connection to the show crosses a huge territory,” she wrote. “Showing up to your appointment and asking my coworkers any sort of questions about myself or about Hudson is hugely uncomfortable for everyone.”
She closed her message directly: “With peace and love, please stop.”
Williams had previously addressed his girlfriend’s discomfort with public attention. In an interview with ETalk Canada shortly after their Valentine’s Day hard launch, he discussed how she was navigating sudden visibility.
“I don’t even check the DMs, I’m sure they’re the exact same,” he laughed when asked about his direct messages since going public with the relationship. He thanked “all the lovely fans for supporting her.”
“Even though she’s not trying to be out there or perceived,” he added. “She’s always like: ‘I don’t want to be perceived.'”
At that time, Williams characterized fan response as positive, noting people were being “really warm” toward Larson, which he called “really nice” to see. Larson’s new statement suggests some fans have since overstepped that warmth into territory she finds invasive.
Williams and costar Connor Storrie are currently filming season 2 of “Heated Rivalry,” expected to drop in 2027. The new season will adapt Rachel Reid’s sixth book in the series, “The Long Game.” At the Toronto International Film Festival, Williams teased the upcoming dynamic to Storrie directly: “We’re going to be kissing each other, brother,” He added that where season one was “the yearning season,” season two would feature “external adversity and [relationship] communication problems that feel very real and human.”
