Edward threatened to punch Mido in the face during the “90 Day Fiancé” Season 12 tell-all finale.
Part three of the reunion special aired Sunday on TLC, putting Mido, 41, and his American fiancée Debby, 55, in front of their fellow cast members. The Egyptian national faced a hostile room as footage rolled showing his treatment of Debby, including the explosive fight where a producer had to intervene between him and her friends.
Edward, who had watched the season unfold from home, came in with harsh words for Mido’s behavior toward Debby. He encouraged her to leave the relationship if she felt uncertain, offering a backup plan with unexpected specifics. “Don’t get stuck because you feel like your age or whatever,” he told her. “We can go to D.R. (Dominican Republic) and find other boyfriend or whatever.”
Mallorie jumped in with her own suggestion: “You can go to Turkey, girl,” referencing her husband Rasit’s homeland.
But Edward’s tone shifted dramatically when he addressed Mido directly about his aggression. “I just want to be over there and like, basically, punch you in the face,” he said. “That was very mean.”
Rasit piled on with marriage advice, telling Mido, “When you fight with your wife, please don’t tell, ‘you’re a bitch.'”
Mido attempted to defend himself, insisting Debby had abandoned him during their fight and left him stranded at midnight with nowhere to go. He also refused to apologize to Debby’s friend Astra for yelling at her.
The cast’s disdain for Mido extended beyond his temper. At one point he performed a crying monologue on cue that left the room in stunned, uncomfortable silence.
His proposal prank drew particular fire. Mido had tricked Debby into believing he was leaving her, reducing her to tears before revealing it was all a joke. Paula responded bluntly: “I would’ve kicked his ass.”
Shea connected the stunt to lasting damage. “She was visibly shaking. She’s not gonna forget it because she’s gonna have PTSD from it,” he said. He added his own measured assessment of Mido: “I came in with very low expectations for me talking to you, I wasn’t expecting much, but, even though you may joke different than we do over here, that’s still pushing it a little.”
Mallorie went further, accusing Mido of using Debby solely for a green card to advance his acting ambitions in America. Mido then escalated tensions by declaring that if he didn’t obtain permanent residency within a year, he would return to Egypt and expressed doubt that Debby would accompany him — despite her insistence that she would.
After their segment wrapped, Mido confronted Debby backstage for failing to defend him sufficiently. “But if anyone wants to see me here as ‘the bad guy,’ it’s OK,” he said. “It’s up to you.”
Paula and Ashia later pulled Debby aside to voice their concerns that Mido didn’t genuinely love her. The conversation broke Debby down completely. “It’s so hard,” she said through tears. “What am I gonna do?”
The tell-all confrontation stemmed from a season of mounting tension between Mido and Debby’s inner circle. During one earlier episode, Mido’s fight with Debby and her friends grew so heated that production staff were forced to step in physically. The incident, which aired as part of the season’s central conflict, showed Mido growing increasingly agitated and verbally aggressive while Debby’s friends attempted to intervene on her behalf.
The green card accusation echoed a recurring franchise theme, but Mallorie’s specific claim about Mido’s acting aspirations added a new dimension. His on-demand tears during the tell-all monologue appeared designed to demonstrate performative range, yet the cast received it as evidence of manipulation rather than talent.
TLC has not announced whether Mido and Debby will appear in any future “90 Day Fiancé” spinoffs.
