Julianne Moore and her daughter Liv Freundlich turned heads with matching Messika moments at Paris Fashion Week.
The Oscar winner, 65, and Freundlich, 24, sat front row at the jeweler’s runway show on Thursday, both draped in diamonds from the brand that made Moore its ambassador in March. The “Still Alice” star paired a butter-yellow knit maxi dress with the Midnight Sun diamond ear cuffs and a show-stopping Divine Enigma collar necklace.

That 18-karat white gold collar, blazing with pavé diamonds and a detachable 0.80-carat oval-cut center stone, carried a total weight of 13.20 carats. Its twin had just appeared around Dakota Johnson’s neck at Sunday’s MTV VMAs, where the “Fifty Shades” star wore a version with a larger emerald-cut pendant. House of K’dor founder Tarick K’dor estimated Johnson’s stone at four to five carats and valued the piece at roughly 350,000 Australian dollars, or about $244,000.

Freundlich kept her own look sleeker, layering the Move Uno diamond choker in yellow gold over a black Skims minidress. The Northwestern University grad has been a fixture of front rows since her early teens, starting with Reed Krakoff’s New York Fashion Week show in 2013 and later joining her mother at Ralph Lauren and Bottega Veneta presentations. She even walked in a J.Crew presentation in 2017.

Moore’s stylist, Kate Young, also counts Johnson among her clients, creating a small constellation of shared taste around Thursday’s show. The front row assembled an international crowd: Carla Bruni, Ester Expósito, Miriam Leone, Kiko Mizuhara and Kim Yoo-jung all sat alongside the mother-daughter pair.

The beauty wisdom Moore has passed down runs more practical than precious. “Don’t destroy your eyebrows like I did, and countless other women that I know,” she told Harper’s Bazaar in 2022.

“Liv has appreciation for makeup and fashion,” Moore added at the time. “She doesn’t overdo it.”

Freundlich extended her Fashion Week run with an appearance at the Loewe show on Friday, keeping pace with a circuit she has known since childhood.
