Gypsy Rose Blanchard has spoken out following the death of her former fiancé Ken Urker.
Blanchard, 35, took to Instagram on Friday morning to post a tribute to Urker, 34, who was found unresponsive at a Louisiana home on October 1, the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office confirmed. The mother of one shared a carousel of photos and videos showing the couple laughing and joking together alongside their infant daughter, Aurora Raina Urker.
In one clip, Blanchard and Urker were seen sharing a piece of spaghetti, Lady and the Tramp style.
“You will always be my greatest love story. You will be remembered and loved forever,” Blanchard penned in the caption, alongside a red heart emoji.

The emotional post came after Blanchard released a statement expressing her devastation. “I’m in disbelief,” she said. “I can’t think. I’ve screamed until my throat burns.”
Blanchard went on to call Urker an “amazing father” who was “deeply loved.” She also addressed what she described as the “unimaginable level of public scrutiny” her partner had endured.
“The cruelty directed toward him was something no human being should have to endure. I believe the tremendous weight of that scrutiny and harassment had a profound impact on him, and I hope his passing serves as a reminder that there is a real person behind every screen, every headline, and every comment,” she said.
Urker’s sister, Autumn, has also spoken out about her brother’s final moments. On TikTok Live, she emotionally told followers that he said “I love you” before he passed away, though it remains unclear when this conversation took place.
The couple’s relationship had been a long and complicated one. Blanchard and Urker first connected in 2017 while she was still serving prison time for her involvement in her mother’s death. Their romance was on-again, off-again, with Blanchard marrying her now-ex husband Ryan Anderson in the interim before reconciling with Urker in 2024.

They welcomed their daughter in December 2024, and just months later sat down for their first joint interview since getting back together. Speaking with PEOPLE in March 2025, Blanchard said she “absolutely” saw herself being with Urker “forever.”
“I’ve always felt that way about him,” she said.
“When we first met, we were both young. We were in our mid-twenties, so we grew up. Learning each other is almost like dating a new partner, but then it’s the old partner too,” Blanchard continued.
During that same interview, Blanchard revealed she had “built walls up over so many years” and was working on becoming more vulnerable with her partner. She also disclosed that the couple was in couples therapy at the time, which she described as extremely helpful.
Urker’s death is currently under investigation by officials. The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office has not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding his passing.
