Kylie Jenner has landed her first major scripted acting role.
The reality star and cosmetics founder, 29, will star as the murdered bride in the upcoming thriller drama “Bachelorette Weekend,” which is nearing a straight-to-series order at Hulu. Jenner will also serve as an executive producer on the project, which carries a working title.

Her older sister Kim Kardashian, 44, is already attached as an executive producer through her production involvement. The series was created by author and screenwriter Lauren Oliver and comes from Aaron Kaplan’s Kapital Entertainment.
In the show, a bachelorette weekend turns deadly when the bride, played by Jenner, winds up murdered in the pool and her closest girlfriends all become suspects. Jenner’s role is described as the “North Star of the series,” which pieces together the events that led to the murder.
The script was sent to Kardashian to produce, and she immediately thought of her younger sister for the starring role. Once Kardashian introduced the project to Jenner, she quickly came on board.

“Bachelorette Weekend” is based on an unpublished book by Flora Collins. The project marks Jenner’s most significant foray into scripted television after years of building her brand through reality TV and her Kylie Cosmetics empire.

Jenner made her film acting debut earlier this year in Charli XCX’s mockumentary film “The Moment.” In the A24 movie, which was released in January, the “Kardashians” star played a satirical, fictionalized and exaggerated version of herself and shared a short scene with the musician.

Kardashian has been steadily building her own acting and producing portfolio. She is the star and executive producer of her own scripted Hulu legal drama “All’s Fair.” She also headlines and produces the upcoming Netflix movie “The Fifth Wheel” and executive produces the upcoming Netflix YA drama series “Calabasas,” as well as the unscripted series “Team Moms: Baseball,” which just premiered on Paramount+.
Kardashian made her acting debut in 2008’s “Disaster Movie.” Her major scripted acting breakthrough came playing publicist Siobhan Corbyn alongside Emma Roberts in 2024’s “American Horror Story: Delicate.”

The sisters’ collaboration on “Bachelorette Weekend” represents another business venture tying together the Kardashian-Jenner family’s expanding entertainment footprint. The show’s murder-mystery format places Jenner at the center of a narrative that unfolds through flashbacks and multiple suspect perspectives.

Hulu has not announced a premiere date for “Bachelorette Weekend.”
