Toni Braxton is still feeling sexy at 59.
The “Un-Break My Heart” singer, 59, marked her birthday Wednesday with a racy Instagram photo shoot that quickly set social media ablaze. Braxton rang in the milestone wearing a long-sleeved mesh bodysuit with high-cut sides, feathered heels and stacks of gold bangles, her hair styled in a wild mane of curls.
“Every fold. Every wrinkle. If it’s up to me … Im still feeling SEXY,” she captioned the carousel post. “Damn near 60 today! Happy Birthday to ME! Libra SZN!🎈”
Photographer Derek Blanks, who shot the images, paid tribute to his longtime client in his own Instagram post. “I’m so grateful to have you as a client, but even more grateful for the trust you’ve placed in me and the opportunity to create with you over the years,” he wrote. “It’s always an honor.”
Makeup artist Alex Lucas described the finished shots as “timeless, sophisticated and undeniably Toni!”
The birthday display has become an annual ritual for the seven-time Grammy winner. For her 56th in 2023, she posed in what she called her “birthday suit,” wearing only a black silk robe slipping off her shoulders.
This year’s post drew an outpouring of love from famous faces. Brandy commented, “Happy Birthday Beautiful Toni Braxton 🩶🩶🩶♾️♾️♾️,” while Tina Knowles called her “forever youthful forever beautiful❤️❤️🔥🔥.”

Nicole, the influencer who dated Travis Kelce from 2017 to 2022, has developed her own connection to the Braxton family. She joined Toni onstage at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, in January to dance to the singer’s 2000 hit “He Wasn’t Man Enough.”
That appearance came months after Nicole sparked controversy by dressing as Braxton for Halloween and recreating the song’s music video, leading some fans to accuse her of shading Taylor Swift. Nicole denied any dig at the pop star, and Braxton later told “Entertainment Tonight” she believed the influencer was “just paying homage to me.”
Hairstylist Marie Brown crafted Braxton’s voluminous curls for the birthday shoot, while Fiskani Kaira handled styling duties.
The “Breathe Again” singer’s defiant celebration of aging arrives as she continues performing and recording more than three decades after her self-titled debut album launched her career. Her latest studio album, “Spell My Name,” dropped in 2020.
Braxton’s birthday post lands squarely in Libra season, the astrological window the singer has long embraced as her own.
The singer’s next scheduled performance is at the Texas Trust CU Theatre in Grand Prairie, Texas.
