Keegan Allen 911 Dispatch Audio Revealed After Actor’s Bloody LA Grocery Store Attack

Keegan Allen, 37, is recovering after a violent armed robbery outside a West Hollywood grocery store left him bloodied and possibly concussed.

The “Pretty Little Liars” actor was attacked in the parking lot of Laurel Supply, a high-end market on Santa Monica Boulevard, shortly after 9 p.m. Thursday. Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department dispatch audio captured deputies discussing the “assault” as units raced to the scene at 8445 Santa Monica Blvd.

A rep for the LASD said the call was originally logged as a “robbery.” Two male suspects, both dressed in black, confronted Allen in the parking lot. One pointed a silver handgun while the other brandished a knife, demanding the actor’s watch and bracelet.

“Shortly after, the victim was struck in the face with the handgun. The suspects obtained the victim’s watch and fled the scene in an unknown vehicle,” the rep said in a statement.

Allen sustained a laceration to his forehead. Rather than wait for authorities to document his injuries, he turned his camera on himself and posted a bloody video to Instagram immediately after the attack. The footage showed the gash on his forehead as he recounted what happened.

LA County Fire also responded and medically evaluated Allen at the scene, though he was not transported to a hospital by emergency personnel.

Later, Allen revealed in an Instagram comment that he was admitted to an unidentified hospital under the assumption he had suffered a concussion. The severity of his head injury prompted the additional medical check after first responders cleared him to leave the scene.

The armed robbery remains under investigation by the LASD. No arrests had been reported as of the initial coverage.

The attack marks a jarring incident of street violence in a busy commercial corridor of West Hollywood, where high-end retailers and restaurants line Santa Monica Boulevard. Laurel Supply, the grocery store where Allen had been shopping, sits in a well-trafficked area near the border of West Hollywood and Beverly Hills.

Allen has not posted additional updates about his condition beyond the initial video and comment about his hospital admission.

The actor, who rose to fame playing Toby Cavanaugh on Freeform’s “Pretty Little Liars” from 2010 to 2017, has more recently appeared in series including “Walker” and “Atypical.” He maintains an active social media presence with millions of followers across platforms.

The robbery comes amid broader concerns about violent street crime in Los Angeles County, where armed holdups for luxury watches and jewelry have drawn increasing law enforcement attention. Sheriff’s officials have not indicated whether Allen was specifically targeted or whether the suspects recognized him as a public figure.
