Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Punished After VIP Prison Life Is Exposed According to Report

Sean “Diddy” Combs has lost more than a month of good conduct time and been sent to solitary confinement after prison officials determined he broke rules at his New Jersey federal lockup.

The 56-year-old music mogul was sanctioned at FCI Fort Dix for “disruptive conduct,” union secretary Jose Rojas of AFGE Local 506 said. The penalty strips Combs of 41 days of good-time credit and pushes his release from January 2028 to March 2028.

“This is among the most serious penalties,” Rojas said.

Rojas explained that this level of punishment is typically reserved for inmates caught with contraband cellphones. Combs had reportedly smuggled one into the low-security facility and used it to view nude and sexually explicit photos sent by a former girlfriend. The union official emphasized why prisons crack down hard on unauthorized devices.

“Because you can put a hit on somebody with a phone in prison,” Rojas noted.

Prison disciplinary officials found that Combs engaged in conduct “which disrupts or interferes with the security or orderly running of the institution,” Rojas told the publication. Inmates who follow rules can earn up to 54 days of good conduct time per year, making the 41-day loss a significant blow.

The Grammy winner was moved to a special housing unit — solitary confinement — after NBC published an exposé last month detailing his lavish life behind bars, reports said. Insiders told the outlet that transferring inmates to solitary during investigations is standard procedure.

Four fellow inmates in Combs’ unit said that the Bad Boy Records founder was living large, spending thousands monthly on perks including a cellphone, alcohol, specially cooked meals, and fellow prisoners who cleaned his toilet and shower area before he used them.

“This is not some normal s–t you see in jail. This is some rich s–t,” one of the men said.

“It looks crazy, but again, it’s Diddy.”

A Bureau of Prisons spokesperson declined to comment on Combs’ specific conditions, citing “privacy, safety and security reasons.” The bureau’s public affairs office did not confirm the disciplinary action when reached separately.

Combs’ own spokesman pushed back on the reports, saying he had not been informed of any official findings. The representative questioned why attention stayed fixed on his client rather than on systemic issues.

“It is interesting that the focus remains on Sean when the reporting itself raises broader questions about what goes on inside federal prisons and how information makes its way out,” the spokesman said.

“We have not been provided with any official findings or explanation of the disciplinary action you describe, so I am not going to speculate about its basis or consequences.”

The spokesman added that Combs “remains focused on serving his sentence and returning to his family.”

The “Mo Money Mo Problems” rapper is currently serving a 50-month sentence for prostitution-related offenses. His projected release date has shifted multiple times since he entered custody, with his original exit slated for June 2028 before the latest setback.

Combs’ legal troubles extend beyond his federal incarceration. The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department recently opened an investigation into a sexual battery claim against him, adding another layer to his mounting problems.
