Meghan Markle has spoken out about her new charity fashion collaboration.
The Duchess of Sussex, 45, partnered with nonprofit Moms Offering More (MOM) to create a cream-colored crewneck sweatshirt embroidered with the phrase “It’s the Little Things,” launching the $100 piece on Oct. 11 to mark International Day of the Girl. One hundred percent of each purchase benefits MOM and Alliance of Moms, a Los Angeles-based organization supporting pregnant and parenting youth in the city’s foster care system.
The quote carries deeply personal weight for MOM founder Kasondra Herrendorf Cohen. She first heard the words from her father, Hershel Herrendorf, in May 2014 as the pair watched a man feeding ducks in Vancouver’s Stanley Park. Herrendorf mused to his daughter: “It’s the little things in life that bring people happiness. You never truly know somebody’s story.” He died suddenly the very next day, and Cohen has carried his words with her ever since.

Cohen said that Markle joined the project from its earliest stages. “Our goal from the beginning was to create something that felt easy, wearable, and meaningful — something people would genuinely want to live in. Meghan was involved from the start and helped us select the beautiful neutral colors which feel true to her aesthetic,” she said.
“I appreciated how creative she was throughout the design process and how focused she remained on the purpose of the project: supporting mothers, families and the organizations doing that work,” Cohen continued.
Markle shared her own statement with the outlet, framing the collaboration through her parental perspective. “We share one intention as parents,” she said, “a safe and loving future for our children — that’s why at Archewell Philanthropies, we partnered with Moms Offering More on this meaningful campaign, in support of the Alliance of Moms.”
The Duchess added: “We can all appreciate that ‘the little things’ ladder up to big outcomes, especially when it comes to the future of our children, and we are proud to work together on this initiative as we honor International Day of the Girl.”

Moms Offering More provides assistance to historically underserved mothers, youth and families across the US and Canada, investing in food security, childcare and additional support services. Alliance of Moms operates specifically within Los Angeles’s foster care system.
The sweatshirt, available in sizes S through XXXL, sold through MOM’s website on a limited-time basis. Size L had already sold out by press time.

The collaboration represents Markle’s latest venture at the intersection of fashion and philanthropy, using her design input to direct attention and resources toward maternal support organizations. The neutral aesthetic she helped select aligns with her previously established style preferences.

The Oct. 11 launch date deliberately coincided with International Day of the Girl, an annual observance established by the United Nations to advocate for girls’ rights and address the unique challenges they face worldwide.

The limited-edition sweatshirt remained available for purchase exclusively through MOM’s official website.
