The emotional post follows a turbulent period for the Giudice family. In May, Milania was arrested for domestic violence after allegedly punching someone in her family home. She was charged with one count of simple assault and ordered to enroll in anger management classes.

Then in July, Milania’s childhood best friend, Victoria Zardoya, died from a fall while exploring the ruins of Fort Dade in Tampa, Florida. The back-to-back crises played out under intense public scrutiny.

Milania’s father, Joe Giudice, issued a statement defending his daughter. “Milania is a good girl. She has a big heart, she loves deeply, and she cares enormously about the people in her life,” he said. “She is also young and going through a very difficult period right now.”

Joe has been legally barred from entering the United States since serving more than three years in federal prison for fraud charges. Gia has been advocating for a presidential pardon to bring him back.

The sisters’ recent airport altercation with their mother, Teresa Giudice, added to the headlines. In police body cam footage, Teresa speculated that Milania may have fentanyl in her system, while Milania compared herself to Britney Spears, who was placed under a conservatorship by her family.

Gia told “Virtual Reali-Tea” that having Joe back would be “healing” for their family, especially given Milania’s struggles. She and Teresa were invited to the White House by President Trump and the First Lady last weekend for an Italian-American heritage celebration tied to Columbus Day.

“It was a very amazing trip,” Gia said. “It was truly inspiring, and I think it just gave me more motivation to want to fight even harder to get my dad back.”

She made clear her advocacy transcends politics. “Respectfully, I don’t care who is in office if somebody will listen and somebody will maybe grant my father [permission] to come back here in some capacity, whether it’s a visa or whether it’s a pardon,” she continued. She asked listeners to “pray for [their] family to be united again.”

Milania’s treatment center stay and her decision to speak openly about her diagnoses represent a shift toward accountability after months of erratic public incidents. Whether the family’s fractured dynamic can stabilize remains uncertain as they navigate both private grief and public spectacle.
