Kaley Cuoco has given birth to her second child.
The “Big Bang Theory” alum, 40, welcomed daughter Philomena Carmine Bobby on Monday, she announced on Instagram Wednesday. Her fiancé, actor Tom Pelphrey, 44, appeared in the family photos alongside the newborn.
“There are no words to describe this feeling once again,” Cuoco wrote in the post’s caption. “What a blessing. We are so grateful for the crazy wild up and down journey that brought us to our little Philo! Family officially complete 😭Time to bring Matilda’s baby home! 😂💕.”
Cuoco also addressed Pelphrey directly in her announcement, writing that his “life exploded the minute we met, and the gifts keep coming.” She signed off with “I love you forever, girl daddy.”
The couple’s first daughter, Matilda, was born in March 2023. Cuoco and Pelphrey went public with their relationship in 2022, five months before revealing they were expecting Matilda.
Cuoco had announced this second pregnancy in June, simultaneously revealing the baby’s sex. “completing our little family, what a dream come true! 💖” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “This second time around journey has been a little windier in many ways, but wow we are so grateful for this moment!!” She added: “Little sissy on the way!!!” and called Pelphrey a “girl dad for life.”
The pregnancy news came roughly a year after Pelphrey proposed. Cuoco debuted her engagement ring on Instagram last August with the simple caption “Amazing weekend.” She had previously said that “maybe another kid” would arrive before any wedding, joking that the couple was “gonna go way out of order.”
That prediction proved accurate. The “Meet Cute” star had admitted she had yet to “start planning anything” for nuptials, and now the family has expanded before any ceremony.
Cuoco and Pelphrey share the same management team and began dating shortly after her 2022 divorce from second husband Karl Cook, an equestrian she married in 2018. Before Cook, she was married to tennis player Ryan Sweeting from 2013 to 2016. After her second divorce, Cuoco had publicly sworn off marriage, though Pelphrey’s proposal changed that stance.
When Matilda arrived in March 2023, Cuoco gushed on social media that she was “Overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle,” adding to Pelphrey that she “didn’t think I could fall even more in love with you, but I did.”
