Machine Gun Kelly was spotted spending the night at Dakota Johnson’s Los Angeles home after the two met up following his Thursday studio session.
Johnson, 35, arrived at the studio dressed in an oversized leopard-print coat and black pants, where she was seen waiting outside and fiddling with her phone while holding what appeared to be a laptop, according to exclusive photos and video obtained of the evening. Shortly after, MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, 35, emerged from the building to meet the actress.
After clearing the front seat for Johnson by moving a giant denim Hermès Birkin bag into the trunk of his sports car, Baker helped her climb in. The two then departed together, and images from Friday morning showed his vehicle still parked at her house, suggesting their mid-week meet-up extended well past midnight.
The Thursday sighting marks the latest in a string of recent encounters between the pair, who first met at Taylor Swift’s wedding in July. They were spotted earlier this week at Hollywood speakeasy Say Yes, and their connection first sparked public speculation in early September when they were seen spending time together in New York City.
At that time, Johnson and Baker escaped to Swift’s Tribeca apartment before heading to dinner at Estela. “Taylor has let friends use her NYC properties before, and Dakota and Colson wanted privacy, so they headed to her apartment,” a source said at the time.
The source added that there was “definitely chemistry” between the two. “Colson had a really nice time with Dakota. He thinks she’s really cool and obviously he’s attracted to her,” the source said. “They hit it off and there was definitely chemistry.”
The source continued, “It’s new and they’re just getting to know each other, but there was definitely something there, and he would like to see her again.” Baker was described as “really into” the actress, with the source noting, “He likes that she’s funny and doesn’t take herself too seriously.”
Johnson was also spotted sitting front row at Vogue World 2026: Milano on Sept. 22, where Baker performed. The appearance came after Johnson split from longtime partner Chris Martin, 48, in July 2025. Baker, for his part, ended his engagement to Megan Fox in late 2024; she gave birth to their daughter, Saga Blade Fox-Baker, on March 27.
Neither Johnson nor Baker has publicly commented on the nature of their relationship.
Johnson is scheduled to appear at the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on Oct. 18.
