Kim Kardashian dressed up as her 13-year-old daughter North West for Halloween 2026.
The reality star, 44, unveiled the transformation on Instagram Tuesday, wearing waist-length turquoise blue hair, spiked lashes, facial piercings, black grills and gothic stiletto nails. She paired the look with an oversized black graphic tee, striped sleeves, a chunky silver skull-and-crossbones chain and jeweled accessories. “Halloween 2026🧟♀️,” she captioned the carousel, posing in her daughter’s signature style.
The post drew immediate reactions from family and followers alike. “Twins!!!!!!” Kourtney Kardashian commented on the upload. Kris Jenner added, “This is so fun!!!!! 🩵🩵🩵.” Fans admitted the resemblance threw them off. “Girl I thought this was northhh😂😂,” one wrote. “Wait y’all look like twins!!!!!” another added.
The costume arrives after months of public scrutiny over the teenager’s dramatic aesthetic. Earlier this month, North addressed critics who have called her look “demonic” during a TikTok Live session with her mother. “Oh no, I’m not demonic, guys. Stop saying I’m demonic. No, I’m not,” the aspiring rapper said. “Just because I like to dress this way, don’t judge a book by its cover,” she added, sporting bright blue hair during the broadcast.
During that same livestream, the mother-daughter duo revealed that North’s facial piercings are not actually real. Zooming in on the accessories, North poked fun at observers who had been fooled. “I change them so much that you guys think it’s real,” she said.
The teen has previously expressed interest in getting genuine piercings, though Kardashian has not allowed it. The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” alum has also spoken about the broader challenges of parenting North’s public image, telling Alex Cooper on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast that the criticism has been difficult to navigate.
“It’s really hard and it’s really interesting because all the kids are wearing the same things,” Kardashian explained on the podcast. “But then my daughter tries to wear it and then I’m like, ‘okay, we’re never wearing that again.'”
She continued, “Unfortunately, we made that mistake in front of the whole world.”
Kardashian shares North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm with ex-husband Kanye West. The Halloween tribute marks a notable shift in how the Skims founder has engaged with the conversation around her eldest daughter’s style choices, moving from defensive explanations to playful emulation.
The costume also follows North’s recent 13th birthday and her appearance at Paris Fashion Week, where she debuted a bright blue bob and showed off the fake lip piercings that have become part of her signature look.
Kardashian’s Halloween post is expected to remain among her most engaged-with content of the season as fans continue to debate the boundary-blurring tribute.
