Vanessa Trump and Tiger Woods are mapping out a shared future after she was declared cancer-free, according to a source close to the couple.

The pair, who have spent the past year supporting each other through legal and health crises, now view their relationship as stronger than ever, the insider said. Vanessa, 48, received the all-clear on her breast cancer in a video posted Friday to her 19-year-old daughter Kai’s Instagram account. “And it came back clear, so I’m finally cancer-free,” she said in the clip, sharing a hug with Kai afterward.

Woods, 50, has stood by Vanessa since she publicly revealed her diagnosis in May, six months after doctors found the cancer in April. The golf champion even cut short a rehabilitation program in Switzerland to return to Florida for Kai’s high school graduation that month.
“Tiger was obviously thrilled and relieved when Vanessa got the news that she was cancer-free,” the source said. “He’s been by her side throughout everything and it’s been an incredibly happy moment for both of them and their families. They’ve been celebrating privately and are just really grateful to be on the other side of it.”

The support has run both ways. In September, Vanessa accompanied Woods to a Florida courthouse where he accepted a plea deal on a reckless driving charge, reduced from a March DUI arrest. She has remained present as he navigated the fallout from that incident.

“Going through difficult times together has brought them closer and shown them that they can count on one another,” the insider explained. “It’s one thing to enjoy the good times together, but they’ve also seen how the other person handles things when life gets difficult.”

The source added that Vanessa now feels “very safe and supported” with Woods, and that “their relationship is stronger than ever.”
Family integration has moved quickly. “Their families have blended really naturally,” the insider shared. “Kai absolutely adores Woods and Trump gets along great with his kids, too. They genuinely enjoy spending time together as a family.”

Marriage has entered the conversation, though no proposal appears immediate. “They’re very serious about each other and absolutely see a future together,” the source said. “Marriage is something they’ve talked about, but that doesn’t mean a proposal is necessarily around the corner.”

The couple’s public debut came in March 2025, when Woods confirmed their relationship on X nearly two weeks after reports surfaced that they had been dating privately. “Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side!” he posted, sharing two photos with Vanessa. “We look forward to our journey through life together,” he added, requesting privacy “to all those close to our hearts.”

Vanessa’s cancer journey unfolded in stages she shared publicly. After revealing her diagnosis in May, she posted in June that she was recovering from surgery and preparing for additional treatment. The all-clear came after that final phase.

“They’ve both been through a lot this past year and have really leaned on each other,” the insider noted.

Reps for neither Trump nor Woods responded to requests for comment.
Woods is expected to continue his rehabilitation program as he weighs a return to competitive golf.
