Kourtney Kardashian has spoken out about false reports that she and Travis Barker are living apart.
Kardashian, 47, addressed the claims during the November 5 episode of The Kardashians, telling family friend Simon Huck, 42, that her publicist had reached out after a magazine reported the couple had separated. Rather than deny the story, she instructed her representative to let it run.
“She is like, ‘The magazine is saying that you and Travis don’t live together anymore and you are splitting up.’ Any truth?” Kardashian recalled on the show. Her response: “Tell them to print it. Just see what happens.”
She pointed to social media as the source of the speculation, noting that those spreading the story had seen “a dumb TikTok of someone who makes up fabricated stories.” Huck criticized what he called “conspiracy theories” about the family and raised the issue of AI-generated videos circulating online. Kardashian added: “And people believe it. It is so bizarre.”
The couple’s relationship has remained highly public since they began dating. Kardashian was previously with Scott Disick for nearly a decade before their 2015 split; they share three children: Mason, 16, Penelope, 14, and Reign, 11. She and Barker, 50, the Blink-182 drummer, got engaged in October 2021 and married in May 2022.
In June 2023, Kardashian announced her pregnancy with Barker during one of his concerts, holding up a handwritten sign that read: “Travis, I’m pregnant.” She later revealed she had undergone emergency fetal surgery before their son’s birth, posting on Instagram to thank the medical team and Barker, who left tour to be at the hospital. Their son, Rocky, was born in November 2023.
The couple has also been open about previous pregnancy loss. In Barker’s August documentary Louder Than Fear, Kardashian said she discovered she was pregnant six months into their relationship in 2022, before they lost the baby.
“When we lost the baby, we were devastated,” she said in the documentary. “We cried for days. All we wanted was to have a baby together.”
Kardashian continues to co-parent her older children with Disick while raising Rocky with Barker. The false separation claims surfaced alongside other fabricated content about the family, including AI-generated clips that Huck described as “insane.”
