Meet Sam Cookney. Like many London residents, he was fed up with his extortionate rent.
Unlike most Londoners, he decided to do something about it.
Done the sums. Would actually be cheaper for me to rent 2 bed flat in Barcelona+commute to London, than get 1 bed here. Genuinely. Blog it?

A man of his word, three months ago, Sam moved to Barcelona, in sunny Spain.

Sam is currently living it up in his very own newly renovated two-bedroom with a roof terrace. He pays just €800 a month (£560 or $870) and walks everywhere as his flat is located in the center of Barcelona’s historic Gothic Quarter.

His additional bills come out to about $125 a month. He commutes several times a month, and works from home or a co-working space for the rest of the time. And the best bit? He’s saving money.

And although he misses out on the ocassional party in London, Sam is enjoying his new life — and all the attention it’s getting him.
Hola to new followers. Just to re-iterate, I am *still* single and dating in Barcelona and London (obvs). Kthanks.

Time for a move, me thinks.
