Disabled Student Turns Wheelchair Into Badass Mad Max Cosplay

Meet Ben Carpenter, an engineering student and cosplayer from Florida. He recently created a pretty badass Mad Max wheelchair that is nothing short of amazing.

Carpenter, who was born with spinal muscular atrophy, perfectly depicts the early scenes in Mad Max, where he’s at the mercy of a warboy named Nux.

The chariot/buggy attached to the back of his wheelchair, was (wo)manned by fellow cosplay enthusiast Amy. The pair received plenty of attention at the Dragon Con convention in Georgia.

Is this the best costume ever?

Here is Carpenter on a rare occasion he’s not cosplaying.

And here he is welding his epic, head-turning creation.

Grrrrr!

We wonder what Carpenter has in store for us next time…

Make sure you follow him on Instagram to find out.
