When Dale Franck’s wife, Nancy, was recovering in hospital from cancer surgery and their beloved dog escaped, he feared the worst. But as it turned out, Nancy had a very sneaky, furry visitor.

Miniature Schnauzer Sissy was caught on camera sniffing around the hospital where Nancy was recuperating.
Incredibly, Sissy had somehow broken out of the family home and walked two miles to the hospital.
“She was on a mission, but she couldn’t find the right elevator to take,” laughs Dale.
When Sissy finally found nancy (with a bit of help), she was over the moon to be reunited with her human: “She was all excited and making these happy whiny noises.”
And Nancy was confused, but just as pleased to see Sissy, “I don’t know how she found the right door or did any of that herself. Just being able to see her, it was great, it was perfect.”
Nancy’s daughter added, “She missed mom, that’s all I can say.”
