The Oscars 2016 Fashion Moments You Need To Know About (And Some You Don’t)

The Hands Down Best Dressed Absolute Mega Babe award goes to Cate Blanchett, for looking pretty as a princess in this Armani Privé dress.

Although Alicia Vikander takes home Supporting Mega Babe (and Disney’s princess Belle lookalike) for this Louis Vuitton ballgown.

And the winner of the Leonardo DiCaprio award naturally goes to Leo because, you know, Leo.

Tom Hardy takes the Badass Shades On The Red Carpet gong and is recognized for the gift to the world that is this snap of Tom and Leo.

Jacob Tremblay scoops the Star Wars Superfan award for styling up his mini-tuxedo with Millenium Falcon cufflinks and Darth Vader socks.

And the Oscar for Most Daring Neckline (and impressively speedy arm regrowth after Mad Max) goes to Charlize Theron.

The award for ‘Award Ceremony At 6, Beach Party At 7’ goes to Pharrell for his formal take on the sockless rolled trouser look.

While Margot Robbie effortlessly nabs the award for, er, Looking Like The Actual Award.

Eddie Redmayne takes home the award for Dedication To Bringing Back Velvet Suits, for wearing one at just about every award ceremony.

And the Internet Favorite award this year is split between Ryan Gosling, for his white bow tie that left teenage girls around the world hyperventilating…

… and Mark Ruffalo, whose navy tux caused an epidemic of people who just “can’t even”.

And then this cheeky wink very nearly broke the Internet.

The Male Fashion Maverick award goes to Jared Leto for this ensemble that combines an usher’s suit, Hugh Hefner’s slippers and the world’s biggest corsage.

While Lady Gaga (who else?) scoops the Female Fashion Maverick gong for daring to wear trousers to the Oscars, but cleverly disguising them as a dress.

And finally, the Who Wore It Best Award goes to…

Tina Fey! No, actually, Reese Witherspoon… we think.

Have we missed anyone?
