Conjoined twins Brittany and Abby Hensel have addressed the public interest after being seen with a newborn baby.
Speculation has been rife regarding the possibility that the twins, along with Abby’s husband, Josh Bowling, have welcomed a child, following sightings of them with an infant while doing various errands.
Recently, the sisters posted a TikTok video that showcased a series of pictures featuring them with a baby over the past few weeks.
The video was captioned with the word ‘Blessed’, and included hashtags like ‘sisterhood’ and ‘respect’.
On August 14, Abby and Brittany were initially photographed with a baby, captured in its car seat, as reported by TMZ.
Two weeks later, they were observed again while out with Abby’s husband, Josh. TMZ noted that during this outing, they were seen dropping off their dog at the groomers.
Further sightings included their proximity to the school where they are employed, according to reports from the US Sun.
Despite the ongoing speculation, Abby, Brittany, and Josh have not disclosed any details about the baby or confirmed if they have recently become parents.
While the twins have not spoken about their aspirations to become parents lately, Brittany did express in a 2006 interview, “Yeah, we’re going to be moms. We haven’t thought about how being moms is going to work yet.”
Abby gained media attention last year when news of her marriage to Josh in 2021 came to light.
Their wedding was kept private, but Abby and Brittany shared images from the day on TikTok, showing them both in a wedding dress alongside Josh.
Brittany and Abby Hensel are known as conjoined twins, or dicephalic parapagus twins, characterized by having two heads on a single body.
This is an extremely rare condition, with few individuals surviving into adulthood, and medical consensus often advises against attempting to separate such twins.
Each twin possesses her own heart, stomach, spine, and lungs, while they share control over their body, each managing one arm and one leg.
