Adele Announces Marriage Plans in Surprising On-Stage Confession

Adele has just confirmed her engagement in a manner that only Adele could.

The singer, known for hits like ‘Someone Like You,’ has been in a relationship with sports agent Rich Paul for three years. They first met at a friend’s birthday party.

Adele generally keeps her personal life out of the spotlight but has previously expressed her deep affection for Paul.

“I’ve never been in love like this,” she told Elle. “I’m obsessed with him.”

In a 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, Adele described Paul as “just hilarious. Oh, he’s so funny, he’s hilarious, yeah. And very smart. You know, he’s very, very smart. It’s quite incredible watching him do what he does.”

Previously, Adele stirred speculation by referring to Paul as her ‘husband,’ although it was never confirmed whether they had married.

She also appeared to show off an engagement ring at the 2022 BRIT Awards.

Recently, comments Adele made to a fan have seemingly confirmed that the couple is set to tie the knot. During a recent public appearance, the singer hinted at their engagement.

Currently, the mother-of-one is taking a break from her Las Vegas residency to perform a few shows in Munich, Germany, at the 80,000-seat outdoor arena, Messe München.

During one of her recent performances, a fan proposed to her, to which Adele responded, seemingly showing off an engagement ring: “I can’t marry you because I’m already getting married.”

The audience erupted in applause at the 36-year-old singer’s joyous news.

But that wasn’t the only notable moment at Adele’s concerts in Germany.

Last week, she paused her show to watch Team USA’s Sha’Carri Richardson compete in the Olympics. The event was displayed on the arena’s big screens for thousands of concert-goers, as Adele cheered, “go on, girl,” in her distinct London accent.

Her supportive gesture quickly went viral, earning her praise online.

One person commented: “She’s a real one for this. We love women supporting women.”

Another wrote: “That’s a typical Adele thing to do.”

Someone else added: “If I didn’t respect Adele before, I respect her raised to power 10 million. She’s so real for that.”

Is it even possible to love Adele more than we already do?
