Adriana Lima reclaimed her place as the longest-running Victoria’s Secret Angel with her 21st runway appearance Sunday night.
The 45-year-old Brazilian model, Lima, opened her latest turn in neon green lace, a crisscross-strapped teddy paired with floral wings that framed her back. She closed the show in a contrasting all-white look: lace and massive beaded wings, hands clasped and eyes lifted skyward as she floated the final stretch of catwalk.
Lima’s 21st show extends a record that began when she was just 18, debuting in 1999. She appeared in every Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show from that year through 2018 except 2009, when maternity leave kept her away. Though she announced her retirement from the brand in 2018, she returned to the runway in 2024 and now adds this 2026 appearance to her tally.
The brand teased her participation at the end of September with an Instagram video. “You asked, we delivered. The icon of all icons,” the caption read.
Her three turns in the coveted Fantasy Bra — in 2008, 2010 and 2014 — tie her with Heidi Klum for the most wears of that signature piece in Victoria’s Secret history. Kylie Jenner wore this year’s $50 million version, but Lima’s cumulative record remains unmatched.
Lima has made VS history beyond the numbers. She walked the runway just weeks after giving birth in 2012, and earlier this year she appeared alongside her two daughters in a Mother Day campaign for the brand.
The 2026 show marks her second return since stepping away in 2018, cementing a tenure that now spans three decades from teenage newcomer to veteran icon.
She has been chosen to wear the Fantasy Bra a total of three times, a distinction shared only with Klum among the brand’s roster of Angels.
