Imagine filming your girlfriend while she’s with other men. For Bang Bros’ youngest director, this scenario is rather complex.
Logan Xander, a Florida native, appeared on The Bougie Show on YouTube in 2022 to discuss the porn industry. The conversation soon shifted to his personal life outside of his career as an x-rated actor and director.
At 24, Xander is the youngest director at the porn company and has been in a relationship with fellow porn star Valerica Steele for a while.
An award-winner, Xander has performed in and produced numerous adult films. One unique challenge he faces is directing scenes featuring his own girlfriend and other men.
If you assume he’s the jealous type, you’d be mistaken.
“She was already established by the time we started dating,” Xander revealed.
“I like had no interest in entering that at all.”
He continued: “It don’t bother me either. I didn’t think that I would be able to accept it as much as I have been able to.
“But it really don’t bother me.”
Xander mentioned that if a male star holds back because he’s present, it would be an issue.
He elaborated that, as the director, he wants the scene to be executed well and expects everyone to perform as they would for any other director.
Being a porn performer himself, Xander understands the ‘mindset’ involved in sleeping with another performer on camera.
He also noted that when compared to his girlfriend, it’s a completely different experience.
Just as he feels differently, he knows she does too when she’s with another man.
Additionally, he didn’t want ‘to get in the way of her bag’ by restricting her to only sleeping with him on camera. Doing so could severely impact her career, as the host agreed that men prefer to watch a woman who isn’t limited to one partner.
Even though Xander comprehends the industry and sought it out for a career, he’s aware of its downsides too.
One major downside is that he can no longer enjoy videos the way he used to.
“Now I know all of the dudes. I’m not going to jerk to my homies’ d**k,” he explained.
“Sometimes I’ll think I’ve found a good video and then… I can recognize d**ks now.
“So I’m like ‘goddammit’. So I have to turn it off.”
In a previous interview with LADbible, Xander shared that he had been eager to break into the porn industry as quickly as possible.
“I was actively looking for work in this industry for a while – pretty much as soon as I turned 18,” he said.
“By the time I was 19, there was a job posting for an editing position for the company, and I applied and got hired.
“I was, and still am, the youngest person with the company. I worked hard and wanted to start directing.
“Eventually, once I started directing, I was open to the idea of being on camera, and it all just went up from there.
“I love it and have really been enjoying my time and the work I do, despite some negative backlash people have due to outdated stigmas with regard to this industry.”
