Taylor Swift capped the 2026 VMAs red carpet with a jewelry display that eclipsed her couture gown.
The “Opalite” singer, 36, arrived Sunday as the final star at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, stacking her bridal set with a newly debuted custom piece alongside her existing engagement ring and wedding band. The fresh addition, dubbed The Royale, came from Forever Diamonds NY and immediately drew fan speculation about hidden meanings in its unconventional six-stone layout.
Yakov Mazler, brand manager for Forever Diamonds NY, detailed the specifications to the outlet Style. “The Royale is a bespoke, one-of-a-kind ring featuring six center stones: pear, heart, lozenge, Ashoka, marquise and oval,” he said.
“The center stones total 9.57 carats, with pavé bands adding another 0.73 carats, bringing the ring’s total weight to 10.30 carats.”
Swift’s left hand carried still more firepower. Nestled beside her bridal stack sat a 4.56-carat Etho Maria diamond ring, while her ears held a three-tiered Leviev design combining marquise and round diamonds for 8.85 carats total.
The Leviev house had another major client that night. Madonna, 67, wore a 115.03-carat diamond necklace valued at $2.8 million from the same jeweler.
The ceremony itself brought Swift historic recognition. She received the first-ever MTV VMA Artist Director Honors, a new award category that pushed her past all previous records to become the most-awarded artist in the show’s history.
She also claimed Video of the Year for “The Fate of Ophelia,” adding to her trophy count.
Swift’s engagement ring, first revealed earlier this year, had already generated extensive coverage for its estimated seven-figure value and distinctive design. The wedding band she now wears alongside it marked a separate milestone in her relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, 35, following their marriage.
