Amy Schumer has shared a fresh photo on social media highlighting her slimmer frame after losing weight, while also explaining that the change was driven by health concerns.
The 44-year-old comedian has spoken openly about her experience with GLP-1 medications, which she said helped with weight loss after she was diagnosed with a medical condition.
Schumer previously revealed she was diagnosed with Cushing Syndrome, and noted that reactions online played a part in prompting her to look more closely at what was happening with her body.
Not long after, the Trainwreck star appeared noticeably different in photos she shared on Instagram, where she said she’d lost 50 pounds.
In the photo set, she posed in a dress on her staircase in one shot and showed herself packing for a trip in another.
She has now uploaded another selfie—this time wearing a red swimsuit—that some have described as a ‘thirst trap’.

The mirror snap, posted on Tuesday, March 31, shows the actress in a plunging one-piece with silver buckle details, accessorized with sunglasses.
“Thirsty enough for you?”
Despite the playful caption, she has stressed that her weight loss wasn’t about aesthetics alone. Back in December, she said the decision was tied to her wellbeing and even her survival.
‘not to look hot, which does feel fun and temporary’
“I did it to survive.”
Discussing Cushing syndrome, Schumer explained that the condition can be dangerous, adding that the visible symptoms were caught early because of online attention.
“I had a disease that makes your face extremely puffy that can kill you but the internet caught it, and the disease has cleared.”
Cushing disease is a rare endocrine disorder linked to unusually high cortisol levels in the body.
Possible symptoms include facial weight gain, bone pain, fragile skin that bruises easily, and acne.
In Schumer’s case, it’s believed the Cushing’s developed after she received high-dose steroid injections.
She has also said the improvements have allowed her to return to everyday activities she struggled with before.
“I’ve had plastic surgery over the years and I use monjuro. Sorry to anyone that lets down. I’m pain free. I can [play] tag with my son.”
Schumer shares her six-year-old son, Gene, with her estranged husband, Chris Fischer.
