Amy Schumer shares frank revelation about intimate life with spouse in recent interview

Amy Schumer recently shared some candid insights into the intimate aspects of her marriage with her husband, Chris Fischer.

During an interview with People at the SNL50: The Anniversary Special in New York City last weekend (February 16), the comedian provided a glimpse into her personal life.

Marking her seventh wedding anniversary, Schumer humorously declared: “Yes. Seven years. We had sex. We did.”

Whether prompted or not, she willingly shared this piece of information.

She elaborated further when asked if these encounters were limited to rare occasions.

Schumer mentioned: “And birthdays. And birthdays. Yeah.”

This seemingly implies that intimacy occurs around three times a year, giving both a special occasion to anticipate.

Earlier this month, Schumer made another appearance on The View, disclosing a bit more about her intimate life, explaining that they have to plan these moments rather than let them happen naturally.

Discussing her anniversary plans, she stated: “We’re pretty corny. We will make love, we will make sweet love.

“We do birthdays… we do schedule it, we do schedule it. Nobody ever is like, ‘Oh!’ There’s never like, a vibe where it just happens. Do people do that?”

Schumer is known for being open about her personal life, discussing such topics freely in interviews and during her comedy shows.

Earlier in the year, she appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast, revealing that a scene from her well-known movie, Trainwreck, was based on a real-life event she experienced.

While she didn’t mention the athlete’s name, she shared that she had an encounter with a baseball player.

Host Alex Cooper inquired: ““What is the craziest fan interaction you’ve ever had?”

Schumer answered: “I guess, them eating me out? Right? I mean that’s crazy that.”

Cooper chuckled: “That would definitely top the chart!”

Schumer recounted this experience occurring when she was at her career’s peak, especially during her arena tours.

“Were they a professional athlete? Sure,” Schumer mentioned.

“Did I text them late at night and they came over, went down on me, and then I said, ‘I’m so tired, I’m so sorry’ and they left? Yes.”
