Amy Schumer has unveiled a ‘new look’ and chosen to refresh her social media presence by deleting her previous Instagram posts.
The comedian often shares glimpses of her life with her followers, from her experiences on tour to heartfelt family moments.
Despite having captured many significant moments on her Instagram, the 44-year-old decided to remove all her posts on Tuesday (November 11) ‘for no reason’.
Before clearing her account, Schumer reposted her initial Instagram post on her Story, commenting: “My first ever insta post. I’m gonna erase them all cause why not?”
To celebrate her ‘new’ Instagram profile, Schumer posted a picture showcasing her new style, featuring a Valentino Red Silk-Wool Heart Mini Dress and Chanel shoes, as reported by People.
In the caption, she expressed: “I actually left my house tonight. Who’s proud? I’m feeling good and happy. Deleted my old pics for no reason!”
This change follows Schumer’s discussion about her weight loss journey, during which she found that Ozempic did not suit her.
Speaking with Howard Stern on his radio show in January, Schumer revealed: “So, I tried Ozempic almost three years ago and I was like, bedridden. I was like, vomiting — and then you have no energy. But other people take it and they’re all good. God bless them.”
She also mentioned having a gene that increases her likelihood of experiencing nausea.
Schumer elaborated: “I tried it and I was vomiting and I’m in bed and my son’s like, ‘Can you play tag?’ I’m like, ‘I can’t.’ I was shriveling.”
Just as with Ozempic, Schumer has been candid about her experience with Mounjaro and shared a humorous video on her Instagram account earlier this year.
“Hey, Amy here,” the video starts. “I just wanted to say, again, I’m loving being on Mounjaro… am I saying that right? Mounjaro?”

She further stated: “I haven’t found it’s affected anything, my meals are still very satisfying, and they give me a lot of energy.”
Schumer has been a vocal supporter of women’s health issues, particularly regarding her Cushing’s syndrome diagnosis—a condition caused by prolonged exposure to high cortisol levels.
“I want so much for women to love themselves and be relentless when fighting for their own health in a system that usually doesn’t believe them,” Schumer shared in a now-deleted Instagram video.
According to the NHS, symptoms of Cushing’s syndrome include easily bruising skin, increased body fat on the neck, upper back, chest, and abdomen, as well as a decreased sex drive.
