It’s uncommon for celebrities to openly discuss details of their intimate lives, but Angelina Jolie gave fans a rare glimpse by divulging that her ‘best sex’ experience occurred in a movie with Denzel Washington.
Although Jolie is currently the subject of relationship rumors, with rapper Akala being the most recent name linked to her romantically, she has had several significant relationships in the past.
The star of Maleficent has been married three times, to Jonny Lee Miller, Billy Bob Thornton, and, notably, Brad Pitt. However, when discussing her ‘best sex,’ it wasn’t any of her husbands who took the top spot.
She made this admission after starring in the 1999 film The Bone Collector, adapted from Jeffery Deaver’s 1997 novel.
In the movie, Jolie portrays police officer Amelia Donaghy, who is on the hunt for a serial killer that leaves a chilling calling card at each crime scene: a human bone.
As her character struggles to solve the murders, she seeks assistance from Lincoln Rhyme, a quadriplegic forensics expert portrayed by Washington.
Despite his character’s paralysis from a previous accident, the two become close as they work together to crack the case.
Following the release of The Bone Collector, Jolie discussed her on-screen rapport with Washington in an interview with Dark Horizons.
“What’s fascinating are the journeys these two characters undertake, and the deep relationship that evolves between them,” she expressed.
Reflecting on the bond between her character and Washington’s, Jolie revealed: “The best sex I ever had was in this movie.”
Take note, former partners!
The scene Jolie referenced involved her character using intellect and perception to captivate Washington’s character.
“It was great seducing someone with your mind, a huge turn-on,” she added.
More than two decades have passed since Jolie made this statement, suggesting she might have a different perspective on her ‘best sex’ experience now, possibly including one of her subsequent husbands.
Nonetheless, achieving such a memorable moment using only mental connection is quite commendable!
