Anne Hathaway turned her baby bump into the centerpiece of another talk-show appearance Wednesday.
The pregnant actress, 43, arrived at “The Drew Barrymore Show” in New York wearing a semi-sheer top with long swaths of fabric draped on either side, perfectly framing her belly. She paired the flowing top with equally loose pants, skipped a necklace, and finished the look with small hoop earrings and a stack of bangle bracelets.
Black has become Hathaway’s signature color during her current press tour and late-stage pregnancy. The previous night, she wore a custom black Atelier Prabal Gurung gown to the New York City premiere of “Verity,” her latest film. The sparkling dress hugged her curves with a mermaid silhouette and a dramatic tulle cape train.
The Bulgari ambassador piled on diamond rings, bracelets and earrings from the jewelry brand for the premiere and styled her hair in a dramatic bouffant. For the after-party, she changed into a feather-trimmed Sleeper pajama set and swapped her diamonds for more colorful Bulgari jewels.
Hathaway announced she was expecting her third child in June while vacationing in St. Tropez with husband Adam Shulman, their two sons and friends. Since then, she has embraced bold maternity fashion while promoting an impressive slate of movies.
Her maternity style has already produced memorable moments. In June, she stepped out in a red peplum jumpsuit to promote “The Odyssey” that she later admitted she had accidentally worn backwards. At the “End of Oak Street” premiere in August, she showed some midriff in another Prabal Gurung design, a high-low halter top paired with low-slung jeans.
With “Verity” hitting theaters Oct. 2, Hathaway has indicated she will soon take a much-needed break from the promotional circuit. That pause will be brief, however, as she is set to begin filming the action-packed “Days of Thunder” sequel with Tom Cruise next year.
