Ariana Grande has never shied away from expressing her disapproval of Donald Trump’s administration, and recently, she took to Instagram to voice her critique of his supporters.
Grande posted on her Instagram account, criticizing the Trump administration’s performance during the initial 250 days of his return to office.
In her Instagram story, Grande specifically targeted those who voted for Trump in the last election, questioning the impact of his leadership on their lives.
The post sarcastically inquired whether Trump had fulfilled his promises to improve the lives of average Americans in areas such as lowering food costs and providing affordable healthcare.
The shared message read: “I want to check in with Trump voters. I have one very genuine question.
“It’s been 250 days. Now that immigrants have been violently torn from their families and communities have been destroyed, now that trans people have been blamed for virtually everything and live in fear, now that free speech is on the brink of collapse for us all…- has your life gotten better?
“Have your groceries gotten cheaper? Has your health insurance premium gone down? Has your work/life balance improved?
“Can you take a vacation yet? Are you happier? Has the widespread suffering of others paid off for you in the way he promised it would, or are you still waiting?”
This post quickly gained attention on social media, with individuals from various perspectives weighing in with their opinions.
A supporter of Grande commented: “Genuine question. Kudos to her for being brave enough to ask it.”
Another commented: “I love how she isnt afraid to post on whats right.”
A third admirer simply stated: “I love Ariana grande.”
Critics also made their voices heard, sharing their responses to the post.
One individual remarked: “My grocery store added an graphic to items on their website, “price drop”. Didn’t see that during Biden!”
Another added: “Just because we disagree with an iota of Trump’s decisions, doesn’t mean we regret voting for him, nor does it mean we have stopped supporting him.”
A third individual expressed: “Yes our lives are much better. Thank you, next.”
The White House has already responded to Grande’s remarks.
In a statement to TMZ, spokesperson Kush Desai commented: “Save your tears, Ariana, because President Trump’s actions ended Joe Biden’s inflation crisis and are bringing in trillions in new investments.
“He even signed an executive order just like magic that paved the way for the FTC to crack down on Ticketmaster for ripping off Ariana Grande’s concert-going fans. Get well soon, Ariana!”
Both Ariana Grande and the White House have been contacted for further comment.
