Ariana Grande questioned about plastic surgery during lie detector test

Ariana Grande has addressed rumors about her undergoing plastic surgery in the past.

The pop star and actress recently participated in Vanity Fair’s ‘Lie Detector Test,’ during which she was hooked up to a machine designed to detect deception.

Grande faced numerous questions about her career, but one particular topic prompted a strong response from the 31-year-old.

Her Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo asked: “Did you ever get work done to make yourself more popular?”

The former Nickelodeon actress clarified whether ‘work’ referred to plastic surgery, which Erivo confirmed.

She promptly denied claims of having procedures on her nose, getting a boob job, and undergoing a facelift.

The lie detector validated Grande’s honesty with these responses, leading her to jest: “This is the best day of my life. Take that you YouTube people.”

Grande also dismissed allegations of having a fox eye lift and a chin implant, expressing genuine confusion about the latter procedure.

The lie detector affirmed her truthfulness once again.

Grande shared: “I’ve had fillers in various places and Botox, but I stopped four years ago and that is the extent.

“I live in full support of all people who do these things. Whatever makes women, men, non-gender conforming people feel beautiful should be allowed. Why do we care?”

The segment from the interview quickly gained traction on social media, with many applauding Grande’s honest responses.

“She’s so cuteee I love her so much,” one fan commented on Twitter. Another added: “And just like that she ended them allegations.”

In the previous year, Grande appeared emotional as she reflected on her use of Botox and fillers over the years.

In a Vogue Beauty Secrets video, Grande candidly shared: “For a long time, beauty was about hiding for me, and now I feel like maybe it’s not since I stopped getting fillers and Botox.

“I know, for me, I was just like, I wanna see my well-earned cry lines and smile lines. I hope my smile lines get deeper and deeper and I laugh more and more.

“I just think ageing can be such a beautiful thing.”

Although the ‘Thank U, Next’ singer did not completely rule out future cosmetic enhancements.

“Now might I get a face lift in 10 years? Might, yeah,” she laughed. “But these are just thoughts I feel like we should be able to discuss.”
