Arrest made after multiple shots fired at Rihanna’s residence while she was home

A woman has been arrested after reports of multiple gunshots near Rihanna’s Beverly Hills home on Sunday (March 8).

According to the Los Angeles Times, officers were called to an incident at 1:21pm local time in the Beverly Hills Post Office area of Los Angeles.

Police said at least ten shots were fired toward the property from inside a vehicle parked near the singer’s residence, and a 30-year-old woman was later taken into custody.

A source told the newspaper Rihanna was home at the time the suspected shots were fired, though authorities said no injuries were reported.

Armen Arias, an LAPD spokesperson, said investigators found bullet damage to a gate at the residence, and also to an RV that was parked in the driveway.

Dispatch audio obtained by the Los Angeles Times stated that a white Tesla—believed to be the vehicle involved—left the area shortly after the shots were heard.

Police later tracked the car to a shopping center parking lot in Sherman Oaks, where a helicopter assisted officers. The suspect was arrested without incident around 30 minutes after the alleged shooting.

Arias told the LA Times: “When they pulled the suspect over and took her into custody, they searched the vehicle and located an assault rifle and seven casings.”

People reports that Rihanna lives at the Beverly Hills property with her partner A$AP Rocky and their three children, RZA, Riot and Rocki.

While the singer is believed to have been at home during the incident, it has not been confirmed whether Rocky and the children were there at the time.

A source also told People that Rihanna was doing ‘okay’ following the incident.

The news comes after A$AP Rocky recently discussed how he and Rihanna keep their relationship fresh while raising three children.

Speaking on The Ebro Show, the rapper said: “You got to spice it up. You got to still date. You got to still be friends.

“We roll [music] dice. We play cards. Like, you know what I’m saying? Like, she a cheater. We be playing crazy eights. I love that girl to death, man. You know, word. We got to keep the funk going cuz if not, what we doing then?”
