Authorities Detail ICE Agent’s Injuries After Renee Nicole Good Shooting

Details about the injuries of ICE agent Jonathan Ross have emerged.

Jonathan Ross has been identified as the ICE agent involved in the fatal shooting of Renee Nicole Good on January 7.

Ross was executing raids in a neighborhood in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where Good resided. She was inside her car when video footage captured her attempting to drive away from the officers, moments before shots were fired.

The shooting resulted in the death of the 37-year-old mother.

Good’s wife, Becca, expressed her grief and described Renee as ‘pure love’, ‘pure joy’, and ‘pure sunshine’ following her untimely death.

In an emotional statement to MPR News, Becca said: “Renee sparkled. She literally sparkled. I mean, she didn’t wear glitter but I swear she had sparkles coming out of her pores. All the time. You might think it was just my love talking but her family said the same thing. Renee was made of sunshine.”

Becca continued to explain: “Renee lived by an overarching belief: there is kindness in the world and we need to do everything we can to find it where it resides and nurture it where it needs to grow. Renee was a Christian who knew that all religions teach the same essential truth: we are here to love each other, care for each other, and keep each other safe and whole.”

The incident has been contentious, with some arguing that Good’s death was unwarranted. However, the US government has labeled her as a ‘domestic terrorist’ who ‘weaponized her vehicle’, suggesting that agent Ross’ actions were justified.

There has been ongoing debate regarding whether Ross was hit by her vehicle, with many examining the footage available online. Minneapolis mayor Jacob Frey is among those who have expressed skepticism about the official narrative.

In support of the claim that Ross was indeed struck, two US officials have stated that Ross experienced internal bleeding following the confrontation on January 7.

These officials, as reported by CBS News, indicated that the bleeding was in his torso.

The precise severity of the bleeding Ross suffered remains unspecified. The Department of Homeland Security has only confirmed that he was indeed injured.

It is reported that the ICE officer has not returned to duty, but the specific reasons for this absence have not been disclosed.

The news regarding Ross’ reported injuries emerged after Kristi Noem announced his hospitalization following the incident. It’s believed that Ross was discharged the same day.

ICE has been contacted for further comment.
