Fans have observed unusual behavior from Jimmy Fallon after he hosted a group of TikTok stars on his show for the first time, prompting a wave of comments.
A.J. and his son Big Justice made their debut on a late-night talk show when they appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
They were accompanied by fellow TikToker, The Rizzler, as the trio aimed to elaborate on their social media fame.
Andrew Befumo, better known as A.J., has been a prominent figure on social media, initially gaining attention through family-oriented videos titled ‘All Befumo’d Up!’.
Eventually, he introduced his son Eric (Big Justice), his wife Mama Justice, and their daughter Ashley to the channel.
Nonetheless, their YouTube content was just the beginning of the recognition they would achieve on TikTok.
With their rising popularity, they were invited to Madison Square Garden to participate in a celebrity basketball game alongside The Rizzler, a third grader named Christian Joseph.
The Rizzler became famous for his videos featuring him in a Black Panther costume and others where he performs the ‘rizz’ face, reminiscent of Zoolander’s Blue Steel.
During their appearance on the show, Fallon’s typically energetic demeanor seemed subdued, raising eyebrows among viewers who criticized his unusually chilly approach.
It could have been the trio’s lively and boisterous energy that put him off, or perhaps their well-known BOOM! catchphrase, but viewers noted that something was amiss with Fallon.
One viewer commented on X: “Dawg this is killing me Fallon’s so mad lol.”
Another remarked: “I want to hire one of those body language analysis people to study Fallon in this whole appearance. All I get from Fallon here is seeping contempt. He just talks over these guys and ignores them constantly. It’s even funnier because you can tell The Roots like them more.”
Before achieving fame, A.J. was a wrestler, known by his ring name, ‘the American Powerchild Eric Justice.’
With their rising fame, largely due to their Costco reviews, the family seems to be on an upward trajectory.
During their appearance with Fallon, the trio recounted their rise to popularity and The Rizzler attempted to teach the host his trademark ‘rizz’ move.
Fallon involved the Roots band in the interaction, jokingly saying: “Questlove, you look like you’re doing an impression of Robert De Niro.”
Despite the awkwardness, Fallon shared some light-hearted moments with the guests, joking about their opinions on Halloween candy and playfully debating whether raisins were suitable treats for trick-or-treaters.
He was also given a giant cookie from Costco, appearing eager to sample something the TikTok stars had praised in their earlier videos.
Perhaps it was simply an off day for Fallon?
