102-Year-Old Woman Gets Arrested Just To Cross It Off Her Bucket List

Fearless 102-year-old Missouri resident Edie Simms just crossed one more thing off her bucket list.

Edie always wanted to know what it would be like to ride the back of a police car. Thanks to her local Senior Citizens Center, Edie got the ride of a lifetime.

But she didn’t commit any crimes — the police car ride was a reward for her kindness and all the regular donations she makes to the Senior Citizens Center.

Edie always donates items like socks, walker bags, eyeglass cases, pillows, and scarves to the center’s members.

The St. Louis, Missouri Police Department probably never expected a favor like this, but they soon saw that Edie was in fact the happiest person to ever get arrested.

When asked if she enjoyed her ride, she  giddily held up her cuffed hands.

She also had some touching words for those who wanted to know how she kept on giving back to her community with such persistence.

“Keep going, don’t ever stop whatever it is you’re doing and spend some time doing community service, because sometimes the person you reach out and touch is the only person that they will talk to in a day.”
